Ch-9 Introductions and Rules

Akihiko POV

"Everyone, can you please listen to me for one moment ?" An upstanding young man with dirt green hair stood up. In all honesty, he looked like a reliable honour student.

"Starting today, we will all be classmates so I think it would be favourable for us all to introduce ourselves and get to know each other. We still have time until the entrance ceremony. So, what do you say ?" He suggested.

That is true. Introductions would help others know their classmates and it could also possibly be helpful to learn about my classmates for future uses.

"I'll go first. My name is Hirata Yosuke, but you can call me Yosuke. My hobby is sports I guess, but I have a special interest in soccer. I plan on playing soccer here. It's nice to meet you all." Hirata introduced himself effortlessly.

He seems to be a brave and charismatic young man who is kind to those around him. He was also a generally handsome person, and his outgoing personality seems to have gotten the attention of a few girls around him.

"Well then, I'd like everyone to start introducing themselves, starting from the front, okay ?" He said and looked at the girl sitting at the front.

The girl in question was taken back by the sudden mantle put on her and stood up.

"M-my name is.... Inogashira Ko-Ko..."

The girl named Inogashira froze, unable to complete her introduction. I noticed her pale visibly as a bit of panic set in. I can deduce that she is a nervous and shy person who is socially awkward. The sudden position she was put in by Hirata made her panic as she most likely was not ready to speak yet.

"Do your best!"

"Don't panic! It's okay!"

A lot of mind words of encouragement were thrown her and way, but the effects were completely opposite. Instead of encouraging her, the only made her more nervous. Inogashira was paralyzed. Though it might seem like words of encouragement, such words like "Do you best!" and "Don't panic! It's okay!" won't help someone who is extremely nervous as that would be forcefull.

"It's okay to go slowly. Don't rush." Hirata lightly told her and she began to calm herself down.

That's good. Such words means she can take things at her own pace without worry.

"My name is Inogashira... Kokoro. Um, my hobby is sewing. I'm also good at knitting. I-it's nice to meet you all." She finally succeeded in her introduction.

She seemed delighted and also embarrassed by her display. She sat down and other students began to introduce themselves.

"Well, I guess I'm next aren't I ?" A beige haired girl said while standing up.

It's the same girl who argued with Koenji inthe bus.

"My name is Kushida Kikyo and I want to become friends with everyone. None of my friends from middle school are here and would like to hang out with all of you!" She smiled brightly, entrancing many of the boys and even girls in the process.

Kushida Kikyo....

She seemed to be a generally outgoing and friendly person who would help you without a moments hesitation. However...

I can't help but feel like this is just a facade. Her eyes tell me all I need. Though it is true that I don't have concrete proof yet, I can tell that she isn't honest with herself. It wouldn't be the first time I've dealt with someone like her.

"My name is Yamauchi Haruki. I competed in table tennis in elementary school and I'm junior high, I was the ace on our baseball team, I was number four. I got hurt during inter-high championships though, and am currently in rehab. It's nice to meet you all." He spoke proudly.
