Heart to Heart with Deidara

Alice's POV:

I spot Deidara as soon as I open my eyes and instinctively grab hold of him wanting someone to comfort me. Taking shaky breaths, I cry into his shoulder not thinking of how I can explain my sudden outburst. He rubs my back in a soothing motion to try and calm me down.

Deidara pulls away and uses his thumb to dry my eyes. "What happened? Are you ok un?" He smiles softly as he brushes the hair out of my face. "He..." I stop myself from saying anymore I don't want Deidara to get hurt or even killed. "He what? Who made you like this? I'll make the bastard pay" Deidara responds with a glint of anger in his eyes. "It doesn't matter Deidara... nothing happened, really" I force a smile but I don't think he is convinced as he glares at me.

He pulls me into a warm embrace and kisses my cheek softly. "It's ok you can tell me I just want to see you happy" He responds hugging me close. "Deidara I-I can't tell you I don't want you to get hurt. Just forget you saw me like that please."

"I knew there was something wrong. Alice tell me, I can help you un. What happened to make you scream like that?" I guess it's no use hiding anything from Deidara. I pull away and sigh looking at him with a saddened look. "Ok you win I'll tell you everything that's been happening, but we need to find a place where there is no one around and you have to swear you'll tell no one anything I tell you". I look at him waiting for a response "I promise un. I know a where we can go come on".

We creep outside as to not wake anyone. I constantly look around incase Madara decides to follow us. Once we are far enough away from the base, Deidara makes one of his clay birds and helps me up into it.

He flies us deeper into the forest until we reach what looks like an old abandoned shack. He lands his bird and helps me off making it disappear as we enter the small building. "This should be far enough and not many people know about this place". Inside the small building is three wooden chairs, a small table and a mattress in the corner.

Deidara sits on one of the chairs as I do the same. We sit in silence for awhile until Deidara begins to speak. "Alice whatever you say I can take it" I take a breath to calm myself before I begin telling him what has happened since I got to the land of Shinobi.

I tell him how Madara is alive and that he and Pain tried to kidnap me. I go on to explain of my time in the Hidden leaf and how I eventually got taken by him and Sasori.

Then I tell him of what happened when I was forced to join the Akatsuki. "You know the scar I have on my leg well, I tried to run away when I first turned into the Okami spirit, but Madara caught me. I was trying to find a way back to my world but Madara told me that I could never go back, but I still fought against him and he threw a kunai in my leg and dragged me back to base" Deidara frowned hearing what I just said.

I carry on. "It wasn't long after that Zetsu scared my shoulder by biting me. After Kakuzu fixed it Pain thought I was trying to escape and reopened the wound as punishment." I tell him about my trip with Hidan and Kakuzu as I got to see 3 again.

(Small time skip)

He seems to be getting angrier the more I tell him. He's not going to respond well to this. "After you left me yesterday, I played a few games with Tobi. When he left I packed away the games to find Zetsu trying to attack me. He chased me into the forest where I bumped into Madara. He seemed angry. He was following us the night we kissed and he wasn't too pleased about it so he took his anger out on me" I explain rubbing my stomach where I felt the creatures claws.

"What did he do to you?" Deidara asks trying to sound calm. "When I tried to turn into the Okami spirit, he put me into a genjutsu none that I've experienced before not like Itachi's. There were shadow monsters attacking me. H-he made me see Sasori trying to turn me into a puppet but when Sasori cut my stomach it felt so real the pain was real. Madara brought me back to him and kept stabbing me over and over with kunai. The shadows came back and started stabbing me until I would confess to belonging to Madara. I-I didn't know what to do as one of them had its hand around my heart. It felt horrible and the pain was unbearable so I confessed to only belonging to Madara but he let the demon pull out my heart anyway. That's when you found me as I woke up" tears fall down my face as I remember what I've endured up until now knowing I may never see my family again.

Deidara gets up and pulls me close. "Its ok you've had to go through this keeping it to yourself I understand why your upset. I'll set that bastard straight, he has no right to be doing what he's doing to you. He'll fucking pay un" I notice his body tense in frustration so I hug him tightly. "Deidara you can't! Just calm down I don't want you getting hurt, he's a lot stronger than you. If you go on a rampage he'll know I told you and we'll both be in danger!"

He drops to his knees pulling me with him. "What are we gonna do then? We can't just let him keep getting away with this." He replies screwing his fists. "I um don't know... but promise me you won't go after him I don't want to loose a friend" I grab a hold of his hands to calm him down.

I notice something sparkle in his cloak pocket and pull it out curiously. It's a necklace with different coloured gems in the shape of birds and dragons that Deidara makes. "That is supposed to have been a gift to you. I was going to give you it tomorrow. I made it out of the crystals we blew up" he sighs then smiles as he takes it from my hand. He then places it around my neck next my other necklace.

"How's it look?" I ask smiling back. "It looks pretty un" he answers with his cheeks flustered. The next thing I know he pulls me into a kiss. My face heats up. "D-Deidara if Madara finds us..." He kisses me again pushing me back so I'm laying down on the floor. "If he does then I'll protect you Alice" he takes off his cloak revealing his mesh top showing his toned stomach underneath. We continue kissing and holding each other while the moon rises high in the sky and the night grows darker. I wish this moment could last forever.

So how did you like this chapter ^~^ We haven't had any romance really in this story so I decided to add in some ;) well as we know it's supposed to be a Madara love story so don't worry she won't stay with Deidara :P xx

I have a question for you now :3 what do you think should happen? Should Madara walk in on them or should he find out later about Alice and Deidara going behind his back ^~^ what do you think? xxx
