Meeting the Two Tails

Alice's POV:
The chirping of birds slowly woke me up. The sky is a bright blue without a cloud insight. 'Today's going to be a good day'. I sit up to find Kakuzu and Hidan eating breakfast.

"If your hungry there's some porridge left over, but hurry up because we are leaving soon" Kakuzu states finishing his food and replacing his mask. I briefly glance at Hidan and sigh picking up the remaining porridge. 'I don't get this guy at all. One minute he's attacking me the next he ignores me'. Hidan then gets up and starts packing his things. I finish my food and then pack up my things which consists of my bowl and blanket.

We leave the clearing and wonder off through the dense forest. "Where abouts is this two tails anyway?" I speak up trying to make small talk. "We were told she is lying low somewhere near Kumogakure" he replies bluntly. 'The village hidden in the clouds hmm'. I pray that the jinchuriki won't put up a fight I don't won't them to be beaten or even worse killed.

We walk for what seems like hours until we reach a small house on the outskirts of the hidden cloud village. Kakuzu tells me and Hidan to stay back while he checks things out. I watch as he sneaks towards the small bricked house and piers through one of the few windows. He walks back over to us "Shes not there. We'll stay hidden until she returns". Kakauzu briefly goes through our ambushing plan then we get into our positions.

The first to attack would be Hidan as he is the fastest out of us three, then Kakuzu and me are to go and try to capture her once Hidan has weakened her. 'I'm just glad I'm not the first to attack. To be honest I would rather not attack at all'.

(Short time skip ^o^)

We have been hidden for a while now and still no sign of the jinchuriki. I carry on drawing a picture of a bunny in the damp ground, until I sense someone else in the area. I slowly peak up from the bushes I'm hiding behind to see a middle aged blonde haired women. She seems to know something's not right and starts carefully looking around the area.

I see the shine of Hidans scythe as he suddenly jumps out of a tree. The girl turns around swiftly taking out a kunai and gets in a defensive position. "Akatsuki" she growls. "I knew you would come for me one day. I will not let any harm come to my village! I will take you down with my own two hands". She threatens Hidan obviously not sensing me and Kakuzu.

Hidan holds his scythe firmly in his hands with a sadistic smile plastered on his face. "Hm I hope your ready to share pain with me bitch!" He yells as he starts trying to strike her with his three bladed weapon.

She dodges Hidans attacks like they were nothing, this clearly pisses him off. I look towards Kakuzu and he nods giving the signal to attack. We both storm out to help a very annoyed Hidan. "There's more of you? Fine I can take it. Bring it on you bastards!" She yells taking off somewhere. "After her come on!" Yells Hidan as we race off after her.

I can barely keep up with them, who knew they were so fast. I focus chakra in my feet as Kakashi taught me to do, so I can run fast enough to keep up.

We follow her into a set of tunnels with many winding paths. I stick close to the others so as to not get lost. She seems to be leading us deeper and deeper through this dimly lit set of tunnels. 'A trap maybe?'.

She stops in the centre of a huge tunnel then turns to face us with a small smile. I stare at her confused as I catch my breath. Suddenly the tunnel we are standing in explodes as we are forced to join her in the main tunnel. Many other explosions are heard as other tunnels collapse trapping us in the main tunnel. "It seems she intends to kill us" Kakazu's deep voice echoes. "Ha no way that's happening" Hidan states holding out his scythe ready to fight.

"Hidan remember what needs to be done" I hear Kakuzu say. 'I wonder what that means'. I'm pulled out of my thoughts when the jinchuriki suddenly bursts into blue flames. The flames swirl around and form into a giant blue spotted cat with two tails. "What the hell!" I yell jumping back in surprise. "That is the form of the two tailed beast" Kakazu answers keeping an eye on the beast in front of us. 'We have to take down that' I mentally scream.
