Zetsu

Alice's POV:

The gruesome scene fades around me sending me back to reality. I sit up breathing heavy as I wipe the sweat from my brow. "I hate this place"' I say looking around the room. This room is much better than the one I was kept in when I first came to the Akatsuki. The bed is defiantly softer and there's a large window this time. I nearly stand up until I remember that my leg is wounded. Looking at my leg I see it wrapped in bandages. 'Well at least they had the decency to bide it for me' I think to myself. I stand up and carefully make my way towards the door. The door won't budge. "Drat locked in" I sigh sitting back down on the bed. I sit in deep thought thinking about everything that's happened until now. Getting taken away from my family, finding new friends only to have lost them and now getting forced to be the Akatsuki's new weapon. "Ugh these bastards what do they think they are playing at" I shake my head to get rid of any doubtful thoughts. "No, come on Alice, you've got to be brave like Konan told you" I lean back on the bed watching some birds fly by and try to relax.

I don't get to relax for very long because a certain plant head interrupts me. "Why do you insist on seeing me all the time?" I ask looking at his plant leaves. "Everyone else avoids us and only talk to us when they need something. Your just fun to scare" both sides say smiling slightly. "I'm not scared of you, I never was. How could anyone find you scary you nothing but a harmless plant" I reply smiling back. He fully phases so that all of his body is out from the floor. "You haven't seen us eat yet Alice. Would you like to see?" His black half sounded amused when he said that. "Um that's sort of weird plus I don't have any food to give you" I say confused. He chuckles to himself and makes me slightly nervous as he walks closer to the bed. "Hehe um Zetsu what are you doing?" I ask nervously. "Hurry up I'm hungry. You said we aren't scary and you wanted to see how we eat right". He advances closer and I get up from the bed panicking slightly at what he might do to me. "Wait w-what do you think your doing!"

I rush towards the door and try to open it again. Finding it's still locked I turn to face Zetsu as he keeps advancing closer. "Leader-sama will kill us if he finds out. It doesn't matter about that" he says eyeing me up and down with his topaz eyes. I back up until my back rests against the wall. "Zetsu-san your scaring me now" I look nervously as cold sweat runs down my back.

He stands in front of me and smirks. "Z-zetsu very funny I believe that you can be scary sometimes ... Zetsu?". I stare wide eyed as he leans his arm on the wall next two me and his white side giggles slightly. "I told you were hungry." he says leaning closer to my neck as I try to push him away. I feel his warm breath against my skin and I shiver. "Leader-sama won't mind if we taste a little bit right? Let's just do it already who cares what he thinks" he argues with himself as he brings his mouth around my arm. "Zetsu? ... Stop it!" I scream and he bites my arm hard.

Someone unlocks the door and steps in the room. "I told you leader-sama wouldn't like it. Shut up" he says phasing back through the floor with blood on his mouth. I just stare blankly and breath heavily in shock. The person who entered my room walks towards me and grabs my uninjured arm pulling me with him. I grasp onto my arm to numb the pain not bothering to look at it.

Moments later I'm thrown into someone else's room. "Kakazu fix this" he demands and I turn to look at the man that brought me. Pein then slams the door and walks away. I hear Kakazu grumble behind me. "Sit here kid" he says pointing to a chair. I do as he says and sit on the chair still holding onto my upper arm. He raises an eyebrow. "What happened?" he asks removing my hand from my arm. I look seeing a small chunk missing. "Stop looking at it and tell me what happened" he groans getting impatient. "It ... it was Zetsu" I reply wincing when Kakazu dabs my wound with antiseptic stuff. "Hm I see he's taken a liking to you. It's best you avoid him if you can" he tells me discarding the cloth he was using. "Trust me he's not as nice as he may seem" I nod in agreement. "This will hurt, try not to move too much" he says as one of his needle like tentacles emerges. "Ok just hurry up already" I say closing my eyes.

I can feel the needle going in and out of my wound and I hold my breath to stop myself from screaming. "I'm done, just try to rest it to give your arm chance to heal" he leaves my side and sits at his desk with piles of money on it. I look at his handy work "Is it going to leave a scar?" I ask as he starts to count his money. "Of course it will. With a wound that deep your lucky he missed any vital arteries" I sigh and stand up. "Thanks Kakazu-san" I say smiling slightly. "No problem kid. Pein said you can stay out of your room for a bit, then he wants you back in your room when everyone else settles down for the night". I wave at him then walk out to find something to do.

Pein's POV:

I hear screaming coming from Alice's new room. 'I swear I locked that door' I think and decide to take a look.

When I get their I hear Alice and sense another chakra in the room with her. "Zetsu? ... stop it!" she screams. Zetsu? That plant headed moron. I specifically told him to leave Alice alone.

I burst through the door and Zetsu makes his leave. "I told you leader-sama wouldn't like it. Shut up" he says taking one last look at the terrified Alice. She doesn't seem to know I'm here as she breaths heavy still in shock.

I look over at the arm she's holding seeing blood running down. I grab hold of her and take her with me to see Kakazu. If she were to die from blood loss then Madara-sama won't be to pleased with me. I push her into his room "Kakazu fix this" I demand and make my leave. I'm guessing Zetsu will try to get her again I sigh while walking into my office. "Well what happened this time?" Madara demands leaning against the office wall. "Zetsu tried to kill her. You know he'll try it again. What do you want to do about it Madara-sama?" I ask sitting down at my desk. He folds his arms over his chest. "Lets see how it plays out, but if he kills her I'll have his head" he chuckles then leaves.
