Fooled

3's POV:

I panicked and ran to Alice's aid. What did she mean 'Madara has her'? I lifted her up bridal style and placed her gently on her bed, while 8 searched the area for any other members of the Akatsuki. I then closed the window tight to ensure that damn Uchiha could not enter again.

I stood at the end of her bed keeping watch as the moon began to rise. It was getting late. 8 came through the door. "Any sign of them?" I asked "No. There's no trance of them. Is Miss Alice ok?" I turned to look at Alice moving in her sleep and a soft smile appears on my face. Luckily I was wearing my mask so 8 couldn't see me smiling. He would just think it unprofessional of me to show emotion. "She seems to have calmed down and is just resting for now. I will stay in her room tonight to make sure she's safe" I add and 8 nods then leaves the room. I pull up a chair from the corner and sit next to her bed. I will not let anyone hurt her again.

Alice POV:

I awake to see the morning sunlight shining through the window. My eyes are still slightly puffy from crying last night as I remember what Itatchi had told me. I realise I am now in my bed and not on the floor and turn my head to see 3 asleep on a chair next to my bed. At least I think he is asleep, because he always wears his white tiger mask. His head suddenly shoots up. He must realise that I am awake. "Uh ah Alice how are you feeling?" He asks sleepily. "I feel a lot better. Thank you 3" I say forcing a smile. "No your not completely fine are you?" Damn it he saw through my smile. I sigh and shake my head as a small tear escapes my grasp. "What happened last night? What did Itatchi of the Akatsuki say to you?" He says sitting on the side of my bed with a hand rubbing my back. "He told me to meet Madara in the woods outside of the Hidden Leaf if I ever want to see my sister again" a few more tears fall onto the bed sheets. "Wait Madara has your sister? I must report this to Hokage-sama ok Alice. I'll leave you in 8's care. He's just downstairs if you need him" 3 says getting up and leaves my room. I rub my tears away with my sleeve trying to calm myself down. How did he get my sister she's back in my world? I shake my head knowing that I wouldn't have to go through this alone. I get up and walk into the bathroom to take a warm shower to cheer me up.

After my shower I look through the wardrobe, and pick out a knee-length lilac dress with a floral print pattern on it. I then begin to brush my nearly dry hair. I hear someone knock on my bedroom door. "Come in" I say putting down the brush. 8 walks into my room. "The Hokage wishes to see you" he says gesturing for me to follow. I get up from my bed and follow 8 downstairs and through the door. He locks the door with a spare key that Lady Tsunade gave him and 3.

After a bit of walking we arrive in front of the Hokages office. 8 knocks on the door. "Come in". We both walk in and see Kakashi, 3, Lady Tsunade, Yamato and Shizune. "Please sit Alice" Lady Tsunade orders and I take a seat in front of her desk again like before. "3 told us what happened last night. I am sorry for what has happened. We will try to get your sister back although it will be rather difficult, if Madara really does show up" she tells me with her head resting on her hand. I just nod. "You will be kept in your room under close watch while we deal with the situation" she demands while I get slightly annoyed. "Why do I have to stay back? She's my sister! I don't want people she doesn't know saving her! I will get her back! This is my problem not yours!" I snap as the others gasp. I see my reflection in the window behind Lady Tsunade and my eyes have turned red again. I stand up and run out of the room. I hear Tsunade send someone after me. I carry on running afraid of what would happen if I get any angrier.

I make it outside and run towards a small, calm koi pond. I sit on the grass with my bare feet dipped in the water while the koi nibble them. I try to calm myself down. I dip my finger into the water letting the koi nibble it making me smile slightly. I sense a presence behind me and turn in a panic to see Kakashi standing at my back, watching me amused as I play with the fish. "Back at home we have a pond in our garden, and I would just sit out and play with the fish when I felt upset or stressed" I say turning my gaze back to the brightly coloured fish. Kakashi moves and sits down next to me. "You really do have the Okami spirit possessing you. Your eyes changed when you got angry" he said looking at me seriously. "Yeah I guess so. My eyes changed colour before when I had just arrived in your world". He sighs "We only want to protect you. Letting you come with us would only put yourself in danger as well as your sisters, and we can't let him or the Akatsuki get a hold of you" I look back at him "I guess your right but I don't know what he will do to her if he finds out that I am not there" I play with the koi again so I don't get upset. "I know, but I promise I won't let them hurt her" Kakashi places his hand on my shoulder. "Tsunade wanted me to ask you whereabouts in the forest Madara wanted to meet you?" He asks me removing his hand. A plan hitches inside my brain. If they won't let me come with them, I'll go on my own. They can't stop me from saving my sister myself. "Itatchi told me to meet Madara in the east part of the forest" I said lying to him. Kakashi stands up "everything will be alright Alice, trust me. I need to go back to Lady Tsunade and tell her the news. 3 and 8 are waiting back at the house for you" with that he left. I can't believe he bought my lie, now all I had to do was to sneak out of my room to go meet with Madara.

Kakashi POV:

I returned to Tsudnades office. "I found Alice. She was sitting by the koi pond near the market". Lady Tsunade nods at this. "And did she give you any information?" She asks and I reply bluntly "Yes. He will be in the forest to the east". Lady Tsunade gets up and talks to me and Yamato. "3 and 8 will keep Alice in her room. Yamato you will take Kiba and Hinata to track Madara down. Kakashi you will take Sakura and Naruto. Understood". Yamato and I reply "Yes Hokage" Tsunade walks back to her desk and sits back down. "You are dismissed. Go and brief your teams on the situation". With that we leave.

Alice POV:

On my way back to the house where I am now residing, I bought a rope from the market making sure no one could see me when I stuffed it in my dress. I arrive at the house and use my key to get in. I am greeted by 3 and 8 who stand up and bow when I walk in the living room. I bow back. "Good to see you have calmed down miss Alice" 3 says sitting back down. "Yes thank you. I am going to my room to freshened up before I make dinner. 3 could you do me a favour and start a pot of boiling water for me?" I ask as I start to walk up the stairs to my room. "Yes of course Alice-san" I hear 3 say before getting into my room. As soon as my door is shut I take out the rope I just bought and hide it under my mattress. Hopefully they won't suspect anything.

After washing my face, I make my way back downstairs to the kitchen. I see a pan full of boiling water on the stove. I go into the fridge and take out a variety of vegetables and some uncooked noodles. I begin chopping the carrots and spring onions and place them into a bowl for adding with the noodles later. I drop the noodles into the bubbling water and stir them softly adding in the vegetables. Next I prepare a black bean sauce.

After all of the food had cooked through, I strained the noodles and veg. I then mixed the sauce with the noodles and placed it on three different plates. "Dinners ready" I shout to get their attention. Seconds later they arrive and sit down at the table. "Aren't you going to take your masks off to eat? It's kind of rude you know" I state looking at both 3 and 8. "Um well we have been taught to show no one our true identity" 3 says rubbing his head while 8 just crosses his arms. "But you know me right? I won't do anything to you. I won't tell everyone what you two look like. You can trust me" I say staring at both 3 and 8. They both look at each other and nod. "Fine but you swear you won't tell anyone our true identities?" 8 sternly asks. "Of course I promise" I respond crossing my heart. They both take their masks off and start to eat the meal I prepared. 8 has a broadish face with green eyes. His hair is light brown, spiky and has black faded tips to each spike of his hair. 3 has a slender face than 8 and has blue eyes. His hair is black in a sort of scene style hairdo. I didn't think they would look like this. I smile to myself while eating my food.

After we have eaten, I take the plates and wash them as 3 and 8 stand up putting their animal masks back on. "Aww you guys are putting them back on already" I whine at them both. "Uh um yes Alice-san, we only took them off so we could eat" 3 explains as I see him smile slightly placing his mask back on. "Aww ok no fair. You don't look ugly or anything" I say teasing them. "Humph, just be pleased that we trust you enough to even take them off while eating" 8 said slightly annoyed as he went back in the living room. "Don't worry about him. He is usually a grump most of the time" 3 states walking into the living room as well.

After cleaning the kitchen then playing a game of chase the ace, which I won, it was already late. 3 walked me up to my room. "I will be right outside your room, and 8 will be standing near the front door if you need anything. We will make sure you stay safe Alice" he exclaims while opening my door. "Ok thanks 3 and goodnight" I close the door and go to sit on my bed. I turn to face the clock which reads 11:40pm. Not long until I have to meet Madara. I will get my sister back.
