Alice's POV:

My body aches as I wake up. I notice that I'm in an unfamiliar room and in someone else's bed. I sit up carefully with my back against the soft pillows to get a better view of the room. The room isn't huge but has enough room for the necessities. There's a vanity, a large wardrobe, a desk and a double bed. The walls are made of stone just like the walls in the room I was kept in, so I must still be in the Akatsuki's hideout. "What the hell where they doing to me?" I question rubbing my aching limbs. I hear someone walking closer to the room and turn my attention to the door. I take a deep breath and hold tight onto the covers as the person enters the room. "How are you feeling Alice?" Konan asks. This must be her room. "U-um my body aches" I answer nervously. She walks towards me and places a cloak on the end of the bed. I look at her confused. "Pein-sama said you should start wearing this as soon as you are well enough" she states placing a bowl of porridge on a table next to me. "What i-is it?" I ask still confused at what is going on. "Pein-sama says you are to join the Akatsuki". My heart beats fast against my chest. "W-what? No! Tobi said he would let me go when he got what he wanted from me" I say with a shocked look. "He was after the Okami Spirit within you, but there was a problem. It started to disappear when it was taken out of you" she starts to explain. So that's what I saw before I past out. "We had to reseal it inside you otherwise we would loose you both. To keep your power from getting into our enemies hands, Pein-sama is making you a member of our organisation". I stare at the cloak then back to Konan. "I-I don't want to! I want to go home!" I yell tears falling from my eyes. She gives me a sweet smile and sits down next to me rubbing my back. "It's ok. Everyone's been given orders not to kill you. You will be safe here" she says trying to cheer me up. I hold onto Konans cloak trying to calm down. "If you need anyone to talk to I'm here for you. The others may be mean and scary, but just ignore them and be brave". She then gets up and walks into her bathroom and brings out some tissues to dry my eyes. "Make sure you eat the food I gave you, and don't leave my room until you are well enough to face the others". She gives me a smile then walks out the room closing the door behind her.

I grab the porridge from the table and begin eating it to take my mind off things. It's the best meal I've had in days. I glance at the cloak while I finish eating. Why do bad things keep happening to me? I place the bowl back on the side and decide to sneak a bath to wash my grotty hair. I move my self to the edge of the bed slowly and try to stand. My legs wobble and I fall to the floor completely missing the bed. "Ow! Fuck that hurts!" I groan trying to sit up. My whole body is sore and aches like hell. There's no way I can make it to the bathroom in my condition. I try to get up but fail falling back onto the floor. I hear the bedroom door open and hope to see Konan so she can help. Instead I get a rather panicked Tobi. "What happened to Alice-chan? Is she ok? Does she need Tobi's help?" he asks flailing about. I nod and he helps me to stand. "I um need help getting to the bathroom" I say timidly. He then picks me up and sits me on the cabinate in the bathroom. "Does Alice-chan need Tobi to do anything else?" he asks happily. "C-could you possibly turn on the taps in the bath please" I tell him as he does so. "If Alice-chan needs anything at all she should tell Tobi". He skips out the bathroom closing the door and then out of Konans room. After painfully getting off the cabinet, I walk carefully to the bath tub and get undressed. I get in and lean back enjoying the warmth of the water while it soaks my aching body.

Madara's POV:

I walk towards the living room to go and annoy Deidara as 'Tobi' would, until I hear a thud come from Konans room. I walk in and find Alice on the floor. This girl needs a lot of work before we can use her in battle. I run over to her panicking like an idiot. "What happened to Alice-chan? Is she ok? Does she need Tobi's help?" I mentally face palm at how stupid I sound in this annoying voice. She nods and I help her to stand. "I um need help getting to the bathroom". I pick her up bridal style and carry her to the bathroom placing her on the cabinet. This is so annoying. "Does Alice-chan need Tobi to do anything else?" I ask sounding happy. "C-could you possibly turn on the taps in the bath please" she asks pointing to the bath. I do as she asks then make my leave. "If Alice-chan needs anything at all she should tell Tobi".

Alice's POV:

I get out the bath after a long soak and my muscles feel a lot better. At least I can move without it hurting too much. I dry myself off and look down at my dirty ninja uniform. I think I need some new clothes I'm sure Konan won't mind if I borrow some. I peek out the door and make sure the bedroom door is shut. I walk over to the wardrobe in just a towel and begin to rummage round. "Mmm I'll just borrow a shirt and some shorts" I say picking out a purple shirt and some denim shorts. I search the draws and eventually find a pair of underwear and socks. "I'm sure she won't mind". I start to head back to the bathroom when the bedroom door opens. "Konan told me to get you to come to the living ... room" Deidara starts to say as he looks my way. My face goes bright red and I race into the bathroom slamming the door shut. "U-um w-what do you want?" I ask nervously. "Sh-she said for me to take you to the living room hm" he says closing the door behind him. I get changed in a hurry trying to calm down and walk out into the bedroom. I stare at my cloak but decide not to wear it since I don't want anything to do with this organisation. I take a few calming breaths and open the door to see a slightly blushing Deidara. I look away from him before we make eye contact and feel myself blush again. "Look I'm sorry. I didn't know you were naked. Konan said you would of been resting" he sighs. He takes hold of my arm and pulls me with him. "The others are waiting come on".

We walk through many corridors until we reach a large wooden door. Deidara pushes the doors open and walks in pulling me behind. I see everyone but Zetsu and Sasori sat on 2 large sofas. All attention turns to me as Deidara leaves my side and joins the others. I bite my lip nervously as everyone stares at me. "Konan" Pein says in a monotoned voice. Konan gets up and walks next to me. "This is Alice and as of now she will be part of the Akatsuki" she explains in front of everyone. I grab hold of her cloak nervously. "Since the extraction was a failure, you will stay a member of the Akatsuki so we can learn more about the Okami Spirits power. If you disobey any orders you will be punished. Do I make myself clear" Pein informs me. I nod a swallow thickly. "And why aren't you wearing the cloak Konan gave you?" he asks. "Um I ..." I stutter back. "You are to wear it at all times so that even when you are sent on missions everyone can see that you belong to the Akatsuki and no one else". I nod again. "H-hai". Pein then leaves the room.

Konan pulls me towards each member individually and introduces me. "This is Kisame" she says pointing to him. "I see you've recovered quickly kid" he says giving me a toothy grin. "This is Kakazu and Hidan". Kakazu looks up at me then back to counting his money. Hidan smirks at me. "You do anything annoying and I'll sacrifice you to Jashin got it". I can already tell he's not a fan of me being here. "Hidan knock it off. Can't you see she's already upset about this and doesn't need you making it any worse " Konan says standing up for me. She's the only person who's been here for me since I came to the Akatsuki. "Fuck this I've got better things to do than to be introduce to some weak brat!" he yells as he storms off. Konan turns me to face her. "Don't worry about him. All he's interested in is his kami Jashin. Just stay out of his way and you'll be fine" she says reassuring me.

We move onto Itachi next and I can't make eye contact with him because of what he did to me. "This is Itachi. It's best to avoid him ok" she says whispering the last part. I can feel his gaze upon me but I carry on looking at the floor while gripping onto Konan's sleeve. I hear him get off the sofa giving a 'hn' as he walks past me. I don't think I can ever trust him because of what he put me through. She pulls me along and introduces me to Deidara who was one of the two that kidnapped me. I look up at him and blush a little. "Look I said I was sorry" he sighs. "What happened between you two?" Konan asks confused. "Nothing!" We both say in unison. She sighs and drags me over to Tobi who I could swear was staring at me and Deidara. "And this is Tobi" she says as I let go of her sleeve. "Hi Alice-chan! Tobi is a good boy" he says pulling me into a tight hug. "T-too tight" I cough. Deidara bonks Tobi on the head. "Can't you see your strangling her idiot hm!" He yells as Tobi rubs his head releasing me from his grasp. I catch my breath and smile at Tobi. "Senpai shouldn't hit Tobi, it makes him hurt" Tobi moans as Deidara sits back on the sofa annoyed. I giggle slightly and Tobi turns his attention back to me. "Well that's about everyone except for Zetsu and Sasori. I'm sure they'll be around later. I've got some work to do I'll be back in a few hours. Don't get into any trouble or try escaping because Pein-sama won't be too pleased" she says giving a quick wave as she walks away leaving me in a room full of S-class criminals.
