i can't speak for u,
and say the reason why u did it.
it'll always be a mystery,
and i can say i uncovered it,
but that'll be a lie wrapped in what i believe is the truth.
maybe u were on a hunt.
u wanted only the best,
and the person who can pass,
whatever twisted test,
u have in ur head.
i thought i had flying colors.
when u would hold me in the dark,
i saw light all around us,
even in the spot u took us,
and the spot you're now taking him to.
it's okay,
i'm over it now.
but i genuinely hope,
for your sake & his,
that this is the end.
at least for now.
i hope u find what you're looking for.
i hope u found it in him.
i know now,
that someone soon will have me better.
they'll truly be the winner.
and i'll look back,
be thankful for all the moments,
enjoyed the highlights on an endless reel,
but the show's over now.
it's how i truly feel.
i found what i'm looking for inside me.
i'm worth it & maybe u won't see,
but eventually,
and maybe u already felt it,
you'll regret it,
while i never regretted anything.
