I wanna be yours...

Chapter 3

A week later, barhain Grand prix.

The time has come for the first race of the season. So we found ourselves at the airport to reach our destination.Lando and I would go a week earlier , and his girlfriend was coming over for the race weekend. We boarded on the plane and after some hours we finally arrived in Bahrain, we took our bags and we walked towards the exit, where a car was waiting for us that would accompany us to the hotel where we would stay for the week.

"Get some rest, and I'll call you later," I say when we get up to our rooms

"You should do the same," Lando replied, rubbing his eyes and yawning before closing the door to his room.
I close the door behind me , leave my suitcase, and go straight to my bed where I lie down straight away. I fell asleep, and without realizing it, the hours passed.A knock on my door took me out of my dreams. I looked down at my phone to see the time, I rubbed my eyes and got up to open the door.

"Good morning, sleeping head!" Charles energetic voice reached my ears.

"Good morning.." I said still sleepily. "Come in, " I gestured for him to enter the room.

"I came to get you for breakfast." I saw him smiling while I sat on the edge of the bed.

"Seriously, how come you have so much energy early in the morning?" I say sarcastically as I get up from bed.

"Very funny." He laughed, annoyed."Go get ready, I'll wait here, " he replied sitting comfortably in the chair.

"Don't you have anyone else to piss off?" I ask him before entering the bathroom to get ready.

"Nope..." He shouts from outside the bathroom.

20 minutes later, I get ready and get out of the bathroom. "I'm ready," I say and take my bag.

"Good, let's go! " he said and opened the door."Alex and Pierre are waiting for us in the lobby, " he says after we enter the elevator.

"Okay," I reply before the elevator doors open. "Good morning, boys," I say and hug them.

"Good morning," they said, smiling.
We got into the car and after a few minutes we arrived at a beautiful place. We sat down and ordered breakfast. As we ate, we shared our news and time passed without us realizing it, so we went back to the hotel. After I said goodbye, I went up to the floor where our rooms were, and before going to mine, I knocked on the door of Lando.
After a few seconds, the door opened
"Good morning," I say, before turning around to enter.

"Good morning, sis," he says and closes the door behind him as he follows me into the room.

"Did you eat breakfast?" he asked me and jumped on the bed,taking his phone in his hands.

"Yes, Charles came and took me to breakfast." I sit next to him, " You?" I ask
and I turn on the TV.

"Yes, I ordered breakfast," he tells me. Looking away from his phone, I continued watching tv in silence until lando spoke.

"Do you have any plans?" He asked, putting his phone down

"Um, no, why?" I asked, wonderingly without paying attention.

"Do you want to go golfing with me," he smiled  and sat better in bed.

"Sure.." I say and turn my gaze back to the TV. "Is Carlos coming to if we are gonna play golf?"

"Yeah! Charles and Daniel will come too."

"Okay, then I will join too." I smile at him teasingly, and he shakes his head as he calls the boys.

" Okay, guys, my annoying sister will come too," I hear him saying on the phone, and I roll my eyes at him.

" This will be fun!" You hear Carlos saying through the phone before he  hangs up.

"Better go change," I say, rushing to the door. " See you in a minute.." i say, closing the door behind. After I changed into something more comfortable, I went down to the lobby to meet the boys who were waiting. Me, Lando , and Carlos, we were walking away to the cars while Charles and Daniel  were walking a bit further behind us three.

" Don't say you don't see it, but don't you think Maria and Carlos like each other?"Daniel said. 

" That's exactly what I think, too." They both laughed.

" Maybe we should try to get those two together,"

" Let's see what we can do." They giggle, and we all walked further.

We all played some golf and me ,Lando and Carlos, and spent the rest of the day together. After a long day we went to lando's room.

" It's not fair. You know I won this time in golf, not you!" He pouted.

" You know what's not fair. You literally pushed me away on the last round. You knew I was gonna win!" I say to him.

" Not true."

" It is true, Lando!" I say

" Yeah, okay, you're right. I did that, but it was fun tho" he smiles at me teasingly,

" So that's means Maria wins, and you didn't win. Muppet even your sister beats you in golf. I'm disappointed in you." He turned his gaze at me." No offense meant to you, you did great!"

" Thank you, Carlos." I smiled at him,
" You did great, too!"

"Please, go flirt somewhere else, not when I'm next to you," he says, annoyed

" Oh well, it's not my fault you are here. Why don't you go somewhere else and I'll be here flirting with Carlos." I say teasingly,  and Carlos smirks at me. Lando stood there, looking at both with a disgusting face.

"That's disgusting. Now, all I can see when I close my eyes is that you two kiss. Eww,.... " Carlos and I started laughing at him,we stared at each other for a minute.

"I better go..." I say, breaking eye contact.

"Me too," Carlos said, looking at my brother. "goodnight muppet!"says and  goes to the door.

"Good night bro" I hugged him and followed him outside.He accompanied me to my room, we stopped, and i turned to face him. "Thank you,..." I sayed smiling before opening the door

"Maria..?!" I turned to look at him again.

"Yeah...?" I said, confused.

"I had a great time today.." he hummed, lost in thought for a brief moment.
rubbing the back of his neck.

"Me too,"  i agreed with a quick smile. He smiled back.

"Good night, mi ninã" said and kissed my cheek.

"Goodnight ,chili," I answered, trying to hide my blushing.

I walked into the room, changed into my pajamas,and laid on my bed, watching an episode of my favorite series until I fell asleep......
