Passionate Night

"10 MILLION for Dra. Kelsea Maurice Altamirano," Reeve said, which almost made me fainted.

What the actual fuck?!

The room fell silent. The people everywhere were dumbfounded. The first sound that erupted was the sound of my parents applauding.

"OMG! That's my future son-in-law!" Mommy exclaimed. Rinig ko ang boses niya dahil malapit lang ang table nila sa stage. Daddy just raised his wine glass and nodded at me.

Nagpalakpakan ang lahat nang tumayo si Reeve upang sunduin ako sa mismong stage. Dumagundong ang dibdib ko at tumindig ang balahibo ko nang bumulong siya sa tenga ko.

"Wife, let's go back to our table," He said casually and offered me his hand, which I accepted.

Habang naglalakad kami ay hindi ko maiwasan ang hindi magsalita. Para akong nakalutang dahil sa nangyari ilang segundo pa lang ang nakakalipas.

"Zuriel Reeve Roschefort! Why did you bid 10 Million for a dinner?!" gigil na saad ko dahil sa sobrang pagkagulat sa nangyari.

He smirked. "Yes, Mrs. Kelsea Maurice Roschefort? Isn't enough? Gusto mong dagdagan ko?" he rebukes.

Ang dami kong gustong sabihin pero hindi na lang ako nagsalita at umismid na lang. Ngumuso naman siya nang inirapan ko siya. Para bang nagpipigil siya ng ngiti.

"Mom," I composed myself when my parents welcomed us. There's a smile that was plastered on her lips. She was obviously impressed by Reeve.

"That's so sweet of you, Reeve!" She jaunty said. "You may now go to your dinner date." Mom winked at me and even gave me a pecked. "Remember all the positions I've told you, ha!"

Heat rushed through my veins when I heard what she whispered to me. Mas lalo akong namula nang biglang naubo ng sabay sina Dad at Reeve.

Nakakahiya!

Dad cleared his throat, swerving the awkward situation. "Sweetheart, text us after dinner, okay? You two, enjoy." Dad embraced me before he turned to Reeve. "We should talk some other time, Reeve. I wanted to know more about your plans for my daughter."

"Yes, Sir," Reeve answered politely.

Nagpaalam na muna kami sa mga kasama namin sa table bago lumabas ng venue at dumiretso sa dinner date na sinet up nila sa restaurant ni Reeve. Zuriel's wasn't too far from the Silvermoon hotel, so we got there in time. When we got there, Reeve gave the key to his car to the valet before we went straight to the elevator after getting welcomed by the servers.

Pagkarating namin sa rooftop deck ay pinagbuksan kami ng isang staff ng glass door. Napakurap-kurap ako nang makita kung gaano kaganda ang inihanda nilang dinner date. We have the view of the majestic city lights around the metro.

It was a table for two decorated with fairy string lights hanging on the gazebo. Inside was a table for two with candles at the center, a bottle of wine, and a wine glass. There is also someone who is playing with the violin in the corner.

He pulled a chair for me, and I smiled because of it. "Thank you,"

My lips parted when he handed me a bouquet of flowers. It was a sunflower bouquet that has fairy lights on it. Did he forget that I am allergic to flowers?

"I knew you're allergic to flowers. . ." he uttered as if he just read what was in my mind. "These are made with foam. You can even water them if you want." he stated.

My lips parted in awe.

I gulped and accepted the flowers. I smelled it to check if it had a fragrance, and I felt amazed when I smelled a fresh scent. "Thank you, Reeve." I roamed my eyes around the area. "This set up is nice," saad ko at bumaba ang tingin ko sa table na may lamang wine. "But I am still full to eat again. Maybe, we can have our wine first?"
