"I can't talk to you right now." Sabrina tried to get out of his grasp but he only squeezed tighter.
"Why's that Sabrina?" Billy's tone was low. "Talk to me." He sounded upset but there was still a hint of demand in his voice.
"You're bad for me Bil...

- Sabrina's Pov -
The skates gliding across the wood was like music to my ears. The colorful, strobing lights didn't even phase me anymore, not like they did when I first started. My legs had a rhythm that they kept now, I could maneuver and weave through everybody like it was nothing.
"Sabrina, take this to table 3!" One of my coworkers shouts over the counter.
The skating rink was packed tonight because it was the last night of summer break. People were getting in as much alcohol and pills as they could before walking back through the doors to repeat another miserable year at school. It was only nine so I had three more hours to go. I knew my feet had blisters on them but I'd been doing this for so long that I didn't even feel them anymore.
"I got it!" I shout back as I placed down two strawberry smoothies in front of a couple.
My outfit consisted of a short, black skirt and a black button up, completed with a white apron and my favorite white skates. I've had these skates since I was 5 years old, even though they didn't fit me yet. My first pair of skates were bright pink with white laces.
My grandma bought them for me for my third birthday, I didn't use them for two years until one day I was bored out of my mind and decided to learn. I never set them down since that day. It was the best decision I've ever made in my life.
I watch as my friend Layla accidentally bumps into someone, almost spilling her tray. She fixes her green bow after recollecting herself. I laugh at her because she's been working here longer than I have.
"Stop laughing jerk. I've been doing this since 5 o' clock." She mutters as she rolls past me.
I chuckle again and follow her to our usual booth, it was facing the front door so we could watch people as they entered. That was our thing, it had been our thing for the past three years. This was our favorite thing to do on our break.
She lets out a sigh and rests her arms on the tables.
"What is it?" I could tell something was wrong.
"Tomorrow is our first day of senior year..isn't that crazy?"
I smile at her. "One more year of Highschool."
She scoffs. "One more year closer to me leaving this town." She reclines back against the booth.
"Right right.." I always entertained her thoughts.
Layla's dream was to leave Hawkins and move to the big city. She's wanted to leave since our first year of Highschool after she took a trip to Chicago over the summer to go see family. I remember her phone calls, everyday she told me that she never wanted to leave.
Me and Layla were alike in so many ways, except for that. Every time she tried to convince me to move with her, I would always argue that I wanted to stay in Hawkins.
"Don't you want to get out of this boring town?"
Was always the answer she threw at me, followed up by something about seeing the world. Every. Single. Time.
I shrug and decided to divert my attention to something else. So I look at the door.
"Look who it is." I mumble with a grin on my face.
Steve Harrington and Nancy Wheeler followed by Tommy and Carol. Personally I didn't have an issue with Nancy, but Steve was my ex and..well I'm sure you know how it goes. I studied them as they walked up to the counter and ordered two Pepsis.
A smirk crept on my face as I formed an idea.
I focus my eyes on the soda. Layla was muttering on about this new boy in town or something but I kept my attention on the soda. He sits down and places the drink on the table.
Once he picked it back up I knew I was ready and with a jerk of my head the drink exploded right in his hand covering him and Nancy in the sticky liquid.
Carol and Tommy laugh their asses off as Nancy shrieks and stands up. Steve rushes to get napkins, irritation and confusion written all over his face.
"Holy shit. Did you see that Sabrina?" She looks at me.
