- Sabrina's POV -

As soon as school ended I didn't even say bye to Layla or any of the other girls. I walked right to the main road with one thought in my mind.

El

The shortcut through the woods got me there in no time, not to mention it hid me from everybody else. I knew I had to make this trip quick because I couldn't leave Bethany at the house for a long time, but then again my "greatest enemy" would be there with her and Max.

Hoppers police vehicle wasn't in the driveway as I approached, it didn't really phase me and besides, even though I looked at Hopper like a father...this conversation was for El and El only.

I knocked on the door, I knew they had a secret code but I figured if she looked out of the window and saw me, she'd open the door. And that's what she did.

"Sabrina..?" Her voice is soft and low, like usual, but the look on her face let me know that she was happy to see me. As was I.

I open my arms and we quickly embrace in a hug. Guilt washes over me as I remember that I hadn't been over here in so long. It wasn't because of her...or Jim. It was only because I wanted to get as far away from my powers as I could and try to live a normal teenage life. Of course I knew that was a stupid fairytale, because in reality, I'll be stuck with it for the rest of my life.

She opens the door silently, gesturing for me to come inside. I give her a smile before stepping in, the small house felt warm and welcoming. It had come a long way.

"Are you...okay?" She asks me as we enter her room, she takes a seat on her bed as do I.

My attentions turns on her again. El has been hiding here for so long, I've even lost count. I understand what Hopper is trying to do here, it's to keep her safe from the lab. I just can't help but wonder if she feels any type of way towards me because I've been out in the real world for a very long time now.

"I think someone knows my secret." I explain slowly, her English has gotten better but I still make sure to pronounce every word perfectly and clearly.

Her eyes widen a bit but she doesn't say anything, I take this moment to continue. "There's this boy, he thinks there's something different about me. He's not wrong but I thought I was doing a good job at hiding everything." I go on, picking at my nails as I wait for her to respond.

"His name?" She asks quietly. I look up at her.

"Billy. Billy Hargrove." I almost cringe when I say his name. Picturing his face in my head made my skin crawl.

El is younger than me but in a lot of ways she's like a sister to me. I love Bethany with all of my heart but El understands me more than anybody, of course a big part of that is because we share a rare ability.

We talk for a couple more minutes, well... I did most of the talking. El was a good listener and that's really all I needed right now.

Now I'm giving her a hug before I leave once again. "I'll be back soon okay? This isn't like last time."

She nods. "I..believe you." Her soft voice is refreshing to hear.

I take my first step, almost making it completely off of the porch before she calls my name. I look back, brows furrowed. "Stay away." She says just above a mutter before nodding and closing the door.

I knew what she meant even with the little to no context. She was talking about Billy...and she was right. If Billy really did know something, somehow, then it could be bad.
