- Sabrina's Pov -

As soon as I got home from school on Monday I immediately dialed Layla. I figured she'd be home by now so I was really hoping she'd answer. "Hello?"

"Layla what am I going to do? He's gonna be here in a couple of minutes." I groan.

"Did you talk to him at school?" She asks.

"I completely avoided him.."

"You're making this a bigger deal than it is." She laughs into the phone.

She doesn't understand.

"No. I'm just mad that my mom thinks I need a babysitter."

"He's not babysitting you. He just checking in and bringing his sister over."

"So. Basically babysitting."

Right after I say that. I hear a loud engine complimented with loud music pull into the driveway. Damn it.

"I gotta go."

"Have fun!" I can practically hear her sly smile on the other end.

"Yeah yeah." I say before placing the phone back down.

Bethany was home, so I'm really just relying on her to open the door, then maybe I wouldn't have to speak. Fortunately, Beth does open the door for him. I open my door a little bit to hear there conversation, then not too long after, I hear Maxine's voice.

The conversation was normal until I hear Billy ask where I am..

Please Beth. Please Beth.

"Upstairs. I can get her!" I hear her say.

No. No. N-

"Sabrina! Billy and Max are here."

I could say I'm sleeping, or say I don't feel good.

No. Then he'd know. He'd know I'm trying to avid him.

I guess I don't answer quick enough though because Beth starts to speak again.

"He's coming up there! Max and I are going outside!"

What? No. No. It's not like he hasn't seen my room before but right now? I don't want to talk to him.

"Sabrina?"

Shit.

"Billy." I answer back as he opens the door. He looks at me. His eyes are so pretty.

"Are you avoiding me?" He shuts the doors before leaning back against it.

Way to cut straight to the point.

"No. Why would I be avoiding you?" I start to tap my on my leg. Just to control how nervous I was. He doesn't say anything, I could tell that he knew I was lying. "I was cleaning.." but I continue to lie more.

"If this is about the fact that I have to come and check on you, listen. I don't want to do it either."

I furrow my brows.
