- Sabrina's Pov -Fourth period came quick. I tried not to think about what happened yesterday, at Billy's house. It sent goosebumps up my spin every time I did think about it. But even with that I couldn't stop thinking about his blue eyes. They were addicting.
"Party tomorrow." Layla bites her bottom lip as we both sit down at our desk.
"Really? It'll be like the third day of school."
She rolls her eyes. "Y'know, you should really lighten up. Who cares what day it is?"
After she says that, my eyes are greeted by Billy entering the classroom. I noticed a little bruise on his cheek but I didn't try to examine it because he'd already caught me staring at him before already.
When he looked down at me, I quickly look right back at Layla.
"You're right."
Layla furrows her brows before glancing at Billy. "Oh Sabrina.." She sighs out.
"What?"
"Him?" She nods her head towards him.
"What are you talking about?"
"You have a little crush don't you?" She crosses her arms and leans back in her chair.
"Will you keep your voice down? No, I don't have a "little crush". I don't even know what you're talking about."
"You got all quiet when he came in. Well, quieter than usual." She chuckled out.
I exhale.
"You're not denying it anymore."
"Screw you. I don't like him, I don't like anyone. We're not even a week into school yet and I haven't even said a word to him!" I lied, I lied so bad, "Also, I've heard some bad things about him, why would I want to be around that."
She shrugs. "You're ranting, and you know when you rant it means you're embarrassed..." I shake my head, "your cheeks are red Sabrina."
Damn her.
"You're just mad I'm right."
I stay silent and ignore her.
"So I am right!" She shouts.
"Shh!" I glance over at him, but luckily he was in the back, fiddling with that damn wooden pencil again. "Jesus Layla." I whisper.
She grins at me right as the teacher walks in. "Good morning class."
"I'm right." She mouthed to me before turning her head forward, just so I couldn't say anything to her.
But even while I was pissed off, I couldn't help but smile to myself.
-
"Sabrina."
I was sitting on the bleachers, reading. I looked up to see who was calling my name and to my surprise, Steve stood in front of me.
