- Sabrina's Pov -

Saturday is finally here and im stressing about this stupid fucking dinner when really I should be enjoying my free time.

Instead I'm throwing clothes everywhere, messing with my hair and applying and reapplying mascara. Sometimes I caught myself during all of this and asked why I was so worried about it. I could never give myself an answer.

It's currently noon and they are coming over at six. Billy Hargrove is going to be in my fucking house, in my fucking dining room at my fucking table. I sit on the floor, back against the bed and stare at my wrist. The number seven stared back at me, I look at my door and focus in on it.

My powers are getting weaker, I know that and I know why they are. It's because I haven't been using them. I've always just wanted to be a normal girl, ever since I was 8. To them I was, to Papa I was, just a failed test subject, to them I was normal and useless but that's not the case with me, I know I'm not normal. Normal people can't make drinks explode or make water move with their mind.

I try to open the door, feeling weaker by the second. I squint my eyes and just as I'm about to give up the door swings open. Right as I'm about to celebrate I see Bethany holding the handle.

It was her who opened the door. Not me.

"SABRINA."

I widen my eyes. "What?"

"You know what time it is."

I stare at her blankly.

"I do?"

She groans. "You promised you'd take me to the arcade."

I did promise her that.

As I start to stand up, she furrows her brows. "Are you okay?"

"You're nose is bleeding" She motions to my face.

Oh shit.

"It is? I didn't even notice." I look in my mirror. "I'll meet you at the car in 15." I tell her.

She nods before shutting my door. I sigh and grab some tissues. Usually I would hate taking Bethany to the arcade but on this VERY SPECIAL occasion I'm okay with it, it'll take my mind off of the dinner.

I tap my fingers on the steering wheel as we pull into town. It's the perfect temperature for the windows to be rolled down.

"How long will you be? Remember we have to be back by 3 to help mom." I tell her.

She nods as I stop the car, already unbuckling her seatbelt. "Like an hour or two." She says before hopping out of the car.

"Bethany." I say sternly.

She turns. "I promise." She sighs out before shutting the door.

"Be safe!" I shout out of the window, she doesn't turn around but I know she heard me.

I smile as I watch her walk in and only a couple seconds later is when a familiar red haired girl follows behind her. She has a mad look on her face, almost like the one she had that day I took her home.

An engine revs behind me so I turn around. Billy's behind me with his arm slightly out and a cigarette in his mouth, I can't see his eyes because of the sunglasses.

I duck my head as he drives around me, after I thought he was gone I lift my head but of course with my luck he's stopped right beside of me.

"You just can't get enough." He says before taking a long inhale of his cigarette.
