The letter from the palace came this morning shocking all the relatives living in the mansion. When Ariel heard the news she wasted no time to rush to her grandmother's bedroom, the old woman calmly sits on her bed while the servants we're preparing her clothes and necessary materials that she personally needed.

Charles walks in beside Ariel. "Your too old to deal things in the palace, grandma." Ariel tells her.

Her grandmother snorted. "As if I could say no to his Majesty decree."

Ariel sighs.

Charles quips. "I haven't been into the palace before can you bring me along madame?"

Her grandmother laughs. "I will if Ariel comes as well."

How could Ariel say no to her grandmother like this, she slowly nodded her head. Charles cheers at the background for one of his bucket list will get marked soon accomplished.

Minho spent his days with Azure by his side and meeting Azure's siblings more closer this time around for he had agreed to take temporarily Princess Tria's job in the court while she gave an fitting excuse of her wanting to focus on her soon due time to give birth. The princess trust Minho will take care of the job in her absence well thus Minho studied hard taking his hours after every court meeting to read books in the library of how the Drukurian Empire's laws and regulations works. Basically his busy work lead him to spent in Azure's side literally falling asleep on the bed beside him due to exhaustion.

Azure looked at Minho worriedly. The man passed out holding a book about laws of the Empire in his sleep. Azure took the book, placing it near the bedside table. Azure tucks the blanket over Minho's.

It's been a week already that this routine had started and from what Azure can observe Minho's too engrossed in integrating himself in his lifestyle. Azure can proudly say Minho had studied well enough to know how to things in court to an expert level as of yesterday Minho spoke in some gibberish law article that he doesn't even knew that persuaded the right minister to reform his proposal project.

Azure's siblings we're all staring in astonishment at his beloved that very day and after the court meeting they dragged Minho with them to have a drink which resulted of Minho returning in his chambers passed out like today.

"My husband is working too hard for me." Azure stated his thoughts out loud. He placed a kiss on Minho's forehead as he snuggled closer to him.

A soft knock on his door took his attention. Azure got out of bed and took another thick robes to cover his thin sleep wear. The eunuch greets him. "Your Majesty pardon my intrusion but an unexpected important guest arrive just right now."

Azure raised a brow. "In the middle of the night who would be-"

"I was impatient to wait outside father."

Azure turned to saw Dev stating a few meters behind him. Dev is treated well in the Emperor's inner palace to access everything as back then Azure had announced on the people working under him to treat the orphan royal as if his own son.

Suddenly the bedroom door opens as soon Minho comes out wearing his thin cloth sleep wear. He yawns out loud but manages to cover his mouth with his hand. He looks as if he had just woken up. He places his hands around Azure's waist hugging him from behind. Forgetting eyes we're all them. He lazily place his chin on Azure's shoulder. The servants all casted their eyes down once Minho stepped out for everyone serving inside the Emperor's inner palace knows how habitually he is always the first one to get too affectionate with skinship embracing their Emperor or held hands like a usual routine for him to cling into their Emperor but when they are stationed outside Minho shows his independent nature completely different, he knows his expected to follow protocols. As also Minho treated the servants in the inner palace with the same respect and even helped them in some of their chores whenever he has free time as so he says, even though they strongly refuse for him to join the task at the end even the Emperor can't stop him in doing servants tasks. This new master make them feel at ease and made the inner palace no longer that cold, adding a gentle warmth in the area.
