It was unprecedented a sudden attack caused bloodshed at the southern border. Red color seeps down the earth as bodies fell down the ground. In the middle of the battlefield the former young general is standing at ease. He looks around the his red hair being blown by the wind moving as one with his sword painted red from the enemies. The opponent barbarians leader notice his formidable talent in sword and orders for anyone who takes him down will be greatly rewarded.

Numbers are a mass of course Emerald is only human to feel exhaustion. He wasn't able to dodge the arrow piercing his left shoulder whilst fighting against five individuals by a sword fight. He breathes in as he didn't want to say such words but he is desperate to live and make things right this time. He speaks in old Drukurian language which Azure taught him back then in order to call the Imperial dragon in times of need. "I call light, please guide my path." 

A loud roar causes all the Drukurian soldiers to run back near their land leaving the barbarians cheering thinking the Drukurian soldiers we're cowards except for the red haired former general who was serenely looking up the skies.

A enormous beast landed behind the red haired man and roars back at them fiercely before it spits fire leaving the barbarians to fall back as most of their squad is burn to ashes. The red scaled beast leans down and stared at Emerald's eyes. Emerald held his breath as he reach out his hand. The dragon leans and let him touch his snout. Emerald then whispered still using the old Drukurian language. "I am deeply indebted to you, my dear, thank you for saving us."

The dragon leans further letting him pet him as the Drukurian soldiers looks at the prime minister's eldest son in wonder for how he dares to summon such wild beast that only the Imperial family can manage to tame.

The court meeting has not yet ended but the head eunuch hurriedly whispered a report for only the Emperor to hear.

The Emperor's eyes widen in schock and his facial expressions turns to restless as he raises his hand making the Marquis of the western border stop. "The court meeting will be postponed immediately an urgent matter needed my presence. Everyone is dismissed for today." The Emperor declared in finality leaving everyone confused. The Emperor walks out of court as the eldest prince furrowed his brows along his brother's they followed their father out of court. As they walk in a fast phase by the halls until reaching the compound where the dragons resides only did the Emperor looks back and eyes up each of his son.

"Theos has left today and flew out of here. However a letter came from the southern border being ambushed by barbarians yet somehow Theos saved them and grew to be gentle with the eldest son of the prime minister." The Emperor stops to narrowedly stare at the first prince.

Prince Azure was surprised for the information along with his younger brother's.

The youngest prince furrowed his brows and then questions. "Isn't Theos is grandfather's sired dragon brother? he is old right....? he does only eat and sleep from the past years as far as I've known and my professor's not even connected with us by blood so what imperial father is saying, is impossible."

The Emperor shakes his head. "The individual assigned to deliver meals to Theos has witnessed how Theos soared high above the clouds in an instant." The Emperor then adds. "I do can't also believe any of this however we must all leave and find Theos. A dragon without it's caretaker is dangerous given with Theos background, his specialty is chaos."

All the prince's nodded Theos was one of the dragons in the Empire who was used for battles especially back then when their grandfather was alive and in his younger years the ferocious beast only follows their grandfather's commands and when their grandfather died the dragon has gone in seclusion by the compound. Never once tried to fly again when the former Emperor died.
