The celebration has ended and yet Emerald stays outside petting the dragon as if his cat.

The prince outside stares at the interaction. "I am glad and yet bothered for such connection between general Emerald and Theos." Rubius narrowed his eyes before he turns to his eunuch. "Keep an eye at the young general but keep it low. We don't want eldest brother to know."

A heavy emotion in himself that couldn't be explain is truly bothered for such unnatural connection between the non royal to be familiar of such beast. Perhaps what his third brother said is right something is definitely not right in this predicament.

Prince Gemini truly was enchanted by such beast he has seen for the first time. He couldn't fall asleep now. He got out of his chambers as his servants and guards followed him. He is now a few steps away from such scene. The red haired general has a smile on his face petting the enormous dragon who is relax and golden eyes focused at the red haired man.

As soon as Emerald turns to see the birthday celebrant standing a few meters away. The dragon sits up and golden irises focused at the young prince.

Emerald gently gave a bow for the monarch before he was the one to approach the prince.

The golden irises followed Emerald's every move.

Emerald reach his hand out. "Your Highness, all is well. Theos is a friend of mine."

Prince Gemini hesitantly place his hand at the foreign general and let the man take him steps closer to the enchanting beast.

As they now stood closer to the dragon. Emerald speaks up and call Theos name. Theos follows and lower his head letting Emerald pet him while looking at Prince Gemini.

Emerald took Prince Gemini's hand and guided it to touch Theos. Theos narrowed his eyes at the blue ocean eyed foreign prince who is thrilled and the same time nervous for this situation.

Emerald then whispered. "Your Highness be at ease. Theos knows and is much more observant. Just be gentle."

Prince Gemini did as told and gently petted Theos as Gemini slowly took his hand off from the prince. Letting him solely took the phase in petting the dragon who closed its eyes and as if a dog leans in closer for every touch Gemini did. Prince Gemini chuckles. "Magnificent creatures you have in your Empire, General Marchand."

Emerald smiles back as their eyes meet. "Indeed they are. Although people sometimes misjudged them especially those who aren't from our Empire that is why we treasure and care for them much more as gold. They are our most valiant guardians that defend our Empire as they are also a part of the royal family."

Prince Gemini nods his head. "This is the first time your Empire has revealed such myths to be true in books."

Emerald sighs. "Unfortunately I might be reprimanded for Theos being here."

Prince Gemini then asks. "Such loyal creature was there to save you and the prince, why would you get reprimanded?"

"Theos... his kind.... must be hidden that is a royal decree after the war has ended. They must stay within the Empire walls unless war has been declared... that's the only reason they can venture out or with the Emperor's order." Emerald answered.

Prince Gemini furrowed his brows as he stops from petting Theos.

Theos golden irises stares at the prince then back at Emerald. Emerald shakes his head and smiles. He patted the dragon's side profile. The dragon grunted, satisfied.

"Your Highness... help me explain when he comes."

Prince Gemini grew more confused. "What do you mean General Marchand?"
