idk when how or where to tell u but that vid up top is to play when my girl junie is walking down the isle also lady playing the violin ate so badAS JUNIPER TURNED AROUND she was met by the sight of a dare she say it- rather charming man. she then refocused as he spoke up. "may i ask what you are doing?" he asks as she huffs then turns back to the wall.
"trying to get over this wall of course, maybe if you help lift me up the slightest bit.. i can get over." she explains as she struggles. "why are you trying to get away from who you are trying to get away a from?" he asks and juniper can just tell he had a smug look on his face.
"not that it is any if your business, but i fear he may be a beast. or a troll.." juniper says contemplating which beast would best fit the role of the king. "he?" the mysterious man asks as she looks back, still trying to get over.
"the king. no one will speak of him so therefore i fear he might be a beast or worse... a troll." juniper says as the man stifles a laugh. "now will you please help a lady in much distress get over this wall?" she pleads as she tried to climb once again.
"i will not help a lady in distress if that lady is trying to escape... so she does not have to marry me." the man says as junipers eyes widen in regret. she then slowly climbs off the wall as she faces the man.
"juniper." he says softly as a small smile threatens to creep onto his face. "your majesty, i am truly sorry-." juniper begins as she tries to curtesy but he walks forward and grabs her hand lifting her chin up.
"if i knew you were you i would not have-." she begins once more as the king speaks up. "you would not have told me you were trying to escape- from me?" he asks as a small blush of embarrassment creeps on her face.
"well yes.-." she says but then instantly regrets it. "i mean, no your majesty." she clarifies as he lets out a small laugh. "george, just george- well for others i see how your majesty would be appropriate but for you, just george." he says calmly as she nods. "what would you like to know about me?" he asks as she looks at him surprised.
"i do not know. just that you are not a bad person, or maybe your interests, your- george." she says. "well i hope you can take my word that i am not a bad person. and my interests... astronomy." he says as a smile creeps onto junipers face.
"my mother named me after a planet. jupiter." she tells him as he nods, engaged into the conversation. a mere few minutes had passed of juniper and the king conversing as juniper heard a worried voice calling out her name.
"juniper, what in gods name we're you thinking run-." emmanuel begins as he catches sight of the king. "your majesty." he says as he slightly bows. george then greets him as he speaks up. "well, i hope i will see you there, june. i will the one in these same articles of clothing, standing tall by the archbishop." george says as he kisses the back of junipers hand, her stomach still in jumbles from him calling her june.
"are you ready to go?" manuel asks as juniper turns to him. "i fear i have to change first." she says as she walks past him and into the place, searching in her belongings for her mothers dress.
"get out please, all of you." she mumbles as nice as possible as everyone in the room leaves with a few "yes your majesty" 's and such. a few minutes later juniper had fixed her hair to her liking, the dress, her mothers fit perfect with the the designs of stars and planets scattered around. she slipped on her high heels as she opened the door and earned looks, but she could not quite read them.
she then walked over to emmanuel who stared at her for a second before taking her hand. "you look beautiful cousin." he says as she smiles. "and so do you- well i know you hate that, so you look rather handsome cousin. is that better?" she asks as emmanuel nods.
"thank you for walking me. father could care less." juniper says as they reached the doors that were soon to be opened. "well, you are my favorite and only cousin so it would be inappropriate for me to not love you." he says as she lets out a small laugh before sending a nod to brimsley, letting him know it was time.
as the doors opened juniper felt her stomach go into a knot. "look forward, don't mind these imbeciles." emmanuel whispers using junipers favorite insult as a small smile appears on her face.
she saw the looks the people on the other side were giving her, but she did feel slight comfort knowing that there were people like her present in the room. as she walked she had never felt more confident but scared at the same time as she approached a smiling george.
she then let go of the hand of her cousin, taking her future husband's as he rubbed his fingers in her palm. "you look astronomical." he mouths as she smiles. they then turned to face the archbishop as they recited vows.
it was those six words that made juniper freeze. "you may now kiss the bride." the archbishop says as george gently grabbed the bottom of junipers chin before looking at her then leaning in connecting his pair of lips onto hers.
it felt like fire, juniper never once thought of what it would be like to partake in these sorts of actions but she realized she was missing out, she realized that it felt like it was true in a way. but even though he was kind of a complete stranger, something about the kiss seemed right.
but at the same time, it seemed too good to be true.
