AUDREY'S POV

__________________________________________________________________

"I'm sorry about that." I handed him a napkin hoping he did't take offense to Mason's comment.

"It's okay." He said laughing too. Thankfully, he found it funny. The other people in the parlor looked a little annoyed with Mason and I, but none of that mattered to me as long as Mason enjoyed himself.

"I'm Audrey." I said shaking his hand. He didn't say anything back. It was weird: he just sort of looked at me and nodded, before zoning out.

"Ummmm...and you are?" I said smiling.

"Oh, I'm Justin." he said with a confused look on his face. I bet my question surprised him.

"Wait do you not know who I am?" He asked with an amused face. I could see his smirk slowly growing on his face as he started to scratch the back of his head.

"Of course I do. Everyone does. I was just wondering how you would react to someone who didn't." I said. I probably sound like a deranged fangirl, but I truly always wondered how celebrities would react if people did not know who they were.

"You're different. I like that," There was an awkward silence, but eventually he broke it with another question. "So are you like his nanny or something?" He asked trying to change the subject.

"I guess you could call me that. What brought you here?" I asked, only because he had finished his ice cream before us yet he remained seated in the parlor as Mason and I continued talking.

"Same thing that brought you here...Ice cream." He said raising his empty container, before quickly pulling it down and throwing it in the trash.

"Audrey. I'm done with my ice cream. Can I have another scoop?" Mason asked with ice cream dripping all over his face. Justin and I both couldn't help but laugh at the sight.

"I don't think so big man." I said while grabbing all the napkins we had left to wipe his messy face.

Once I cleaned Mason up, Justin offered to buy him another scoop of ice cream. We continued talking until I realized I had to get Mason home to finish his homework. My nanny skills seem to be lacking today. Mason appeared to like Justin, which is weird, because he never really opens up to anyone.

"So I guess this is goodbye! I should be taking him home to finish his homework." I said hesitantly. Although I know I had to go, I truly enjoyed talking to Justin.

"No I think we can stay here longer." Mason said.

"Ha I'm sure you'd love that." I said back.

"This doesn't have to be goodbye. My friends and I are throwing a little get together and it'd be cool if you came." He said while scratching the back of his neck. I guess I had found his signature move whenever he was nervous, but it only made me adore him.

"I'd love to, but I have church tomorrow. It was nice meeting you, have a great day." I said hugging him. Surprisingly, Mason gave him a hug too and we made our way back to the car. Today was probably one of the most interesting days of my life.
