Chapter 12

AUDREY'S POV

I was performing at a local festival so I had to get ready. Lucky for me my performance wasn't starting until 8:00, which is when people actually pay attention. I still don't know how I feel. Kayla was the one who sent the video to the directors of the festival and that's how I got the gig. I was blasting stunner by milky chance while I was getting ready. I loved milky chance...I don't know what it is about them, but they're different and I love it. I wore my hair in it's natural curls, I put on a little bit of makeup and some lipstick.

I went back to my closet to decide what I should wear. I had three outfits laid out. I had a black skater dress with black heelsfor my first choice, a red crop top with a black and white skater skirt and red heels for my second choice, and then for my last choice I had a tank top, leggings, converse, and a flannel to tie around my waist. I went for the last option, because it would definitely be the most comfortable. I put my clothes on and grabbed my favorite necklace. It's the one I bought myself after graduation to remind myself of all the growing up and changing that I've done. It was always a reminder that I no longer had to be that sad little high schooler and that I could be and do anything I wanted.

I heard the door open and saw Kayla walking in. She dropped all her bags in the middle of the floor and continued reading her magazines while lying down on her bed.

"Well hello to you too." I said pushing her bags to her side of the room.

"Hey! Sorry I was just busy. You really should see what your boyfriend is up too..." she said walking into the bathroom while nodding her head over at the magazine she left on her bed.

"First of all he's not my boyfriend and Second of all, whatever he does is his business. All those magazines ever do is invade peolpes privacy to make money." I said shaking my head.

"Ydsi whadvtghyf, yuo knodw uo wabk to sse it." She said while brushing her teeth.

"You do realize I didn't understand a word you just said." I looked in her bag and saw something similar to what I was gonna wear.

" I said yeah whatever, you know you want to see it. And I'm wearing the clothes in the bag from charlotte russe." She wiped her mouth and came back in to get dressed. She threw the magazine at me.

Justin Bieber spotted with Secret Girlfriend, Hailey

"I wonder where they get this crap from." I said. "There's no way they're actually together."

"I just think you're jealous." She snatched it back and smirked at me.

"I think you're wrong and I think you're about to get left in like 2 seconds if you don't hurry up and get ready." I said grabbing the last of my things and heading out the door.
