JUSTIN'S POV
____________________________________________________________________________________
Everybody had left and I was looking for Audrey. I went back to the bathrooms, maybe she was there. Before I could reach the door I saw Harrison.
"Ay, have you seen Audrey?" I asked while peeking in the bathrooms.
"Yeah. She left earlier." He said. What is wrong with her? Did I do something wrong? That whole bathroom thing shouldn't have happened. We wanted each other, but we knew it would only make things worse. As soon as I see her I need to make sure I apologize.
"Thanks man!" I ran out to my car and sped off to her apartment. When I got there I used the key Scooter gave me a while back.
"Audrey!" I said.
"I'm in here." She said quickly. I could hear what sounded like her crying. I messed up big time. I walked in to find her hiding under the covers with the light off. I quickly turned it on and rushed to her side. There was a huge mark on her cheek.
"What happened?" I asked while pulling her in for a hug.
"After you left I ran into this guy I almost dated. We ended things because he was possessive and abusive and I thought he was done, but he's back. He found me and I still don't know how." She said crying even harder. I wiped her tears.
"Did he ummm-ya know?" He asked.
"No, but if I wouldn't have left he might have." She said wiping her tears.
"Baby, who is it?" I asked.
"Don't worry, he'll be gone really soon. Just stay with me now." She said. I took off my shirt, shoes, and jeans and hopped in the bed with her. I pulled her in to my chest and sang to her until she dazed off. I wonder who it was that had her like that.
I woke to the sound of a click and someone cutting the light on.
"What the-?" I said squinting from the brightness of the light.
"Sorry. Scooter sent me to get you. I hope you don't mind, we're already a few minutes behind schedule and he wanted to make sure you were okay, but he had other stuff to take care of so he couldn't be here personally." Harrison said.
"Oh gotcha. Could you give of a minute Harrison?" I asked. Audrey got up from her sleep and I felt her whole body tense.
"I have to leave, but I love you. You will always be in my heart and anytime you need me, I will be there. I'm only a phone call away." I said before kissing her.
"You're actually a phone call, flight, and ride away, but I do know you'll always be here for me. I love you too." She said giggling. I'm glad things are somewhat back to normal. The bruise on her cheek was worse. If I catch whoever did that to her they are dead and I mean that. What kind of man puts his hands on any woman?
"Do you want to go to the airport with me?" I asked.
"I'm not feeling it." She said while staring at the door.
I threw on my clothes and grabbed my phone. She held on to my hand squeezing it tightly as she walked Harrison and I to the door. I gave her one last kiss and walked out. She stood by the door making sure we made it safely to the car. It was one of the saddest and most beautiful views of my life. We made to the car and Harrison realized he forgot his keys so he went back up to get them. A few minutes later he came back and we headed out the door. I can't believe I actually have to leave now. When I get back, She will be mine.
