AUDREY'S POV

__________________________________________________________________

We weren't too far up the stairs before we heard shouting.

"You're a cheater." Someone screamed. It sounded like one of the guys that was in the van earlier.

"How? You just suck at 2K." The other person shouted back.

"Nah, I want a rematch." The first person shouted.

Justin walked in the room and saw Za and Ryan arguing over the game. Justin just ignored them and grabbed the controller. I followed him and grabbed the other one on the couch.

"You know how to play?" He said astonished.

" I know a little something something." I said smirking.

"Ok then, let's see what you got." he said.

*An hour later*

"I still don't see how you beat me. You had no clue what you were doing. All you did was press random buttons." He shoved another piece of bacon into his mouth.

"Because I'm good at everything." I took another bite of my pancake.

"Obviously, you're not good at dancing." He said laughing at me. I threw my napkin at him.

"Sorry about that. I don't really go out much." I took a sip of my orange juice.

"Why not?" He questioned.

"When I was younger I thought it would lead to trouble, so I stayed away from it. Now that I'm old enough to do it I guess I don't want to. It gets old." I finished up the last few bites of food I had left.

"You didn't party in high school?" He asked while grabbing my plate and putting it in the sink.

"Nope. I was only focused on doing better in school and making my parents proud." I shrugged while taking the last sip of my juice.

"Are you and your parents close?" He pulled out the chair beside mine and sat down.

"Yeah. You could say that. My family and I are pretty close. They're all I've ever had." I got up to put my cup in the sink. 'What about you?" I asked.

"Things were tough at one point, but it's better now. My parents have found a way to both support me and I've found a way to move past it all." He said. "So, just wondering have you ever been in a relationship?"

"Nope." I said popping the p after plopping down in the seat.

"So have you ever kissed anyone?" he said moving closer.

"No...not unless a teddy bear counts, although I'm pretty sure it doesn't." I chuckled thinking back to my weird middle school days. As soon as I looked back up Justin leaned in to kiss me and I let him. This is definitely something I could get used too, but of course, good things don't last forever. He pulled away, and me being the person that I am, I assumed it was because I was a bad kisser.

" I should probably go." I stood up reaching for my bag.

"You don't have to. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that." He grabbed my arm.

"I know. I just think it's time I go." I grabbed my bag, clothes and shoes and headed out the door. I had called a taxi earlier so they should be here by now. I should stay, but I don't think I'm ready for any of that.
