"𝐀𝐇𝐇𝐇𝐇𝐇𝐇𝐇!"

Y/N felt like she was falling from the edge of the world.

She was waiting for her death to come slowly.

Eventually.

Y/N hit the water and she thought she was going to meet the Afterlife.

Somehow, she didn't.

While she was falling, Percy held tightly to her, the bad side of this, is that she wasn't able to see him around. She was underwater, trying to analyze her surroundings but she could only see the polluted water from the river.

She was still wondering how she survived the fall.

And if Percy found his way out too.

Y/N couldn't hold her breath any longer, so she swam to the surface. Y/N made her way to the shore where Annabeth and Grover were looking for them.

"PERCY! Y/N!"

"Awesome," Grover said. "Percy's first quest and we've lost him. And Y/N, she is a newfound demigod and she's gone too. How things are going, I will end up living with the horses in the stables."

"Stop whining and continue searching. They couldn't go too far." Annabeth said.

When Y/N heard their voices, she ran to where they stood.

"Hey, guys."

Annabeth and Grover turned around and for the first time since they met, at least what she thought was the first time, they looked happy she was there and not dead.

"Where's Percy?" Annabeth asked.

"I... I don't know. He was next to me when we hit the water but he was nowhere to be found. And let me tell you, I have great night vision."

They looked at each other sadly. A few minutes later, something came out from the water.

No.

Not something.

Someone.

"Perrr-cy!" Grover said as he tackled Percy into a hug. "We thought you'd gone to Hades the hard way!"

Annabeth stood behind him, trying to look angry, but even she seemed relieved to see him. "We can't leave you alone for five minutes! What happened?"

"I sort of fell."
