I was lying on the sofa, and it was very comfortable. A normal person wouldn't think twice about falling asleep there. It's a nice thing to know that I am not a normal person. I say that with sarcasm.

I wanted to go out but knew that was a bad idea. I really want to explore the ship.

No. I don't want to. I need to do that. And it is because of that, that I hated my curious personality. But hey, I grew up with my father, the biggest fan of "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland." Believe me, you learn a lot from her, just in my case I learned the other way. Like her at the beginning of her story, I let my curiosity take over myself.

Annabeth was sleeping so she wouldn't notice if I was gone. But considering how I left the cabin earlier and Daniel did notice... And he is, supposedly, one of the most absent-minded people that I know.

I sat up and looked at Annabeth. She seemed so peaceful... That made me want to wake her up, but I'm not cruel. I bet she would understand if I decided to investigate more about the place.

No, she wouldn't... I thought, feeling kind of upset. I threw myself down again and I hit my head with one of the sofa arms. "Fuck," I muttered.

I think the blow was very loud because it managed to wake Annabeth a little. I sat again and I was rubbing the back of my head, she said, "What's happening?" She then turned to me and asked, "Y/N?"

"It was nothing," I said. "Just hit my head. Go back to sleep."

Annabeth seemed confused but hummed in response and decided to go back to her dream.

My clumsiness only proved that I could not leave without her noticing.

I groaned. I stood up and grabbed my bag. I took out an astronomy book and a notebook my father gifted me for Christmas, some pencils and pens, and walked to the nearest window. Since Annabeth was, hopefully, deep in sleep, glowing just a bit is not that much of a problem.
