𝐈 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃𝐍'𝐓 𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐕𝐄 𝐈𝐓 𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐒𝐄 𝐓𝐎𝐋𝐃 𝐌𝐄, 

but to also hear it from my best friend only proved what her sister told me and my friends before was true.

Chiron was leaving. Argus left too. Thalia's pine tree was dying. And to top everything, an ex-children-eater is our new camp director.

I wanted to go with Annabeth to bid Chiron goodbye, but Alexa is really stubborn. Daniel went with Annabeth though. That was kind of relieving. At least Daniel gets to meet the centaur before leaving.

"I'm glad you returned," Alexa told me as we walked out of the arena.

The Ares' cabin was training with the Apollo kids and we were just watching from a distance, not wanting to fight with any of them.

"Yeah, me too." I stared at the sky for a brief moment and then at my friend, "Though I wish I had more time to explain everything to Daniel."

"Ugh..." She rolled her eyes and we both chuckled, "Don't start acting like that satyr you went on a quest with last year. You did all you could. And you brought him here safely. That's all that should matter."

I scoffed, "I didn't know Ares' children could be so mature."

She nudged me, "Hey! That was rude." I laughed and she joined me seconds later. "But, now that we're at it... Who is that... Daniel?"

"Oh, he is someone I met at school." I briefly explained,

"He seems nice."

"Have I told you, you are a terrible liar?" I inquired. She laughed and I said, "He is very irritating... But I like him."

"If you say so," she paused, "But I agree, he looks annoying."

We laughed again. I really missed her. This is the first time we have seen each other after six months. And, before I got to camp for the first time, we didn't see each other for almost six years. I think. Alexa has been my very first friend ever, and her friendship is something that I intend to keep.

"Shoot." She suddenly exclaimed.

"What?"

"I have to go to the forge."
