Y/N watched as Mr Chase and the other demigods, including Alexa, stepped out of their flying vehicles. And she also glanced at them as they talked.

But another small and faint squeeze to her hand made her attention go back to the hunter.

Y/N placed a hand on her forehead and she tried to pass to her beautiful scenes about anything, just making sure the stars appeared in every single dream.

Thalia crouched next to Y/N, and with Artemis, they began to bind Zoë's wounds. Alexa and Percy stood there watching as they did that, Y/N still giving her nice dreams.

"Can't you heal her with magic?" Percy asked Artemis. "I mean... You're a goddess."

Artemis looked troubled. "Life is a fragile thing, Percy. If the Fates will the string to be cut, there is little I can do. But I can try."

Y/N opened her eyes at that and stared at them sadly. Artemis tried to set her hand on Zoë's side, but Zoë gripped her wrist. She looked into the goddess's eyes, and a sense of understanding passed between them.

"Have I... served thee well?" Zoë whispered.

"With great honour," Artemis said softly. "The finest of my attendants."

Zoë's face relaxed. "Rest. At last."

Y/N looked away as tears ran down her cheeks. Y/N still hadn't come out from her state of confusion, and, even though Y/N hadn't spent time with the girl lying before her, Y/N's heart broke.

Watching how a person silently and painfully fades away, for Y/N, was just like a star dying out and slowly losing its light.

"I can try to heal the poison, my brave one."

With her other hand, Zoë slowly reached for Thalia's and gazed at her softly and weakly, "I am sorry we argued,' Zoë said. "We could have been sisters."
