That night you were so exhausted you almost forgot to feed Yumi. After setting aside her food you immediately fell asleep.

Yumi stayed up for some of the night until she felt you were safe enough to be unguarded.

Nothing happened that night except another Hashira had come in, very late. The love hasira was tired from running all day so she was gonna crash here. She had also heard from a little birdie that you were staying here, so she intended to hangout with you in the morning. Maybe the two of you could eat breakfast together!!!

"Y/n-chan!! Wake up wake up!" Mitsuri brusts through the door and begins shaking you. Yumi jumps up and barks at the intruder.

You shot up and looked at who was shaking you, you calmed down when you saw it was just Mitsuri.

"Good your up!! Now let's go!" She grabbed your hand and pulled you out of bed.

"Mitsuri wait! What are we doing!?" You yelled out while she was dragging you down the hallway Yumi following and barking. If someone was still asleep they would definitely be awake now.

"We are going to eat breakfast together!! Outside too!! Like a picnic date!! Kya!!! Its gonna be so cute, I had Aoi help me make tons of food for us! Oh,oh and, I made pancakes!!!"

Before you even knew it you were Outside sitting on a blanket. And when she said tons she meant it, you had almost forgotten she could eat this much.

It definitely beats breakfast with Shinobu though... You didn't know what she'd try to pull this time. So you were quite thankful Mitsuri had pulled you away before she could.

"Woah this stuff all looks so good..." You stared at the food. Aoi had helped with the food.. Not Shinobu you could eat it. You pointed at the flat bread looking things. "Are these the pancakes you were talking about??" You questioned.

"Yeah!! You have to try them with honey! They are to die for!! Mhm!!" She squealed enthusiastically.

You couldn't help but let out a little laugh at the girls excitement. You felt safe around her.. She was to kind to do anything like Shinobu would right? Right..?

"Okay then." You gave a small smile and she gushed at it. She then poured some honey onto a little stack of pancakes and began feeding them to you.

She held out a fair sized piece to you, you blushed at her actions and her smile seemed to get brighter. You bit it and chewed some bit before swallowing.

"Oh that is really good!" You said and let out a little laugh.

Mitsuri's face turned red.

"See I told you!! They are so good!!" She fed you some more.

After a little while you stared to feel full, even if you hadn't eaten much, you couldn't help but not like the feeling anymore. Not after what Shinobu had done. Before you felt comfort from it, it meant things were good, now you just couldn't handle it.

She brought another piece of food up to your lips. You pushed her hand away lightly.

"I'm sorry Mitsuri-chan I don't think I can have anymore..." You said trying to sound polite.

"Oh thats okay (y/n)-chan! Here, Yumi can have this piece then!" She smiled and puts the piece of food on the ground in front of the small dog.

She barked happily in response and ate it. You were pretty sure Yumi was starting to feel full to..

"So (y/n)-chan I was wondering if you had any plans for this week..?" She asks shyly.

"Well I was supposed to have dinner with Gyomei-sama sometime soon. But I'm going home tonight." You explained feeling a little uneasy. You began looking around, for Shinobu to make sure she didn't hear what you had said. She wasn't anywhere you could see..

"Awh.. Did you tell him you were leaving?" She asked as she continued to eat.

"Ah I haven't yet..." She felt bad now, she hasn't told him yet... Maybe she can ask someone to tell him.. "Mitsuri... Could you tell him I left..? I feel really bad and I don't exactly have a way to tell him myself.." She looked at you and gave a soft smile.

"Of course I can. Thank you for trusting me with this message!!" She was really excited to help you, she didn't know why but she loved it. She loved helping you in anyway she could.

"Your very kind Mitsuri-chan. Oh and feel free to come over anytime after I go home. I don't think I'll be coming over here anymore."

"Oh why is that..?" Her face drops and her eye filled with confusion and concern.

"I can't say here... But if you come over to my home soon I promise I will tell you everything." You said and looked around again.

"Pinky promise?" She says as her smile returns, she then sticks out her pinky to you.

"Pinky promise." You gave a small smile in return.

The rest of the day was not so pleasant, as of right now Yumi was in the room, and you were in Shinobu's office. Waiting for her to say anything. Its okay your getting out tonight.. Tonight.

"So, (y/n) you've seemed to find a way to keep yourself busy..." Her fake smile never seemed to scare you so much.

"I'm sorry.." You said and looked at the ground. She stood up and made her way over to you.

"You should be, I invite you here on my free time and you don't even spend time with me. I don't like that (y/n)." She placed her finger under you chin and lifted your face up. "Tell me, do you not enjoy spending time with me? Is that it? It really hurts me when you're like this."

Playing mind games. Do not fall for it.

"I'm sorry..." You repeated.

"Is that all your going to say to me?" You could tell she was slightly annoyed by your response.

You didn't reply this time. You couldn't think of one thing to say to say. She wrapped her arms your waist and pulled you into her chest. You had to try and stop yourself from shaking. It didn't really work. Your face was pushed against her shoulder and she slowly began patting your head and running her finger through your hair. It would have felt comforting if it was anyone else but her.

Night came but not nearly as soon as you would have liked. You packed all your things up. You held Yumi in your arms and waited for Muichiro to come get you.
