Julie's pov.
It's been one week and i haven't told Luke yet. Flynn knows. She was so excited but I'am....not?
I guess I'm just worried and extremely anxious.
Of course i want a baby so so bad but what if it also has a heart disease or something else?
I sit on the couch next to Luke watching a movie but to be honest i don't even pay attention.
"Hah! This is so funny" Luke laughs but suddenly goes serious.
"Hey?" Luke sits up more straight and takes my hand.
I give him a small smile.
"What's the matter darling? Why are you crying?" He says in a soft voice and I rub over my cheeks. I  cry? I didn't even notice that!
"Nothing" I whisper and Luke kisses my hand and I sigh.
"Luke-"
"Yes?" He looks worried. I have to tell him.
"I'm hungry" i say and he laughs. I can't tell him! Not now.
"We ate 30min ago" he kisses my cheek and stands up.
"You know you can come talk if you feel ready to tell me okay?" He says and I gasp.
"How do you-?"
"Julie Patterson i can read you like an open book!" He smiles and walks in the kitchen. He really can.

I'm telling him now! Definitely! Yes, Julie you do! I texted Luke to come in the garden for a surprise. The sun is already going down and soon we will see a beautiful sunset. I layed a blanket and a few snacks on the grass for a Picknick. My pregnancy test hiding under a pack of chips.
"Wow!" I turn my head and see Luke. He smiles and sits down next to me.
"Thank you my love" he kisses my forehead and I giggle.
We watch the sunset silent for a while. I take a deep breath.
"Can you open the bag of chips please?" I ask and he nods and takes the bag in his hands complete not seeing the test. Seriously?! I have to hide a laugh as Luke gives me the chips. He is so focused looking at me he didn't even see the test.
"You are so beautiful" he smiles and I chuckle.
"Luke look!" I point my finger and he looks down and gasps takes the test in his hands and just starts crying. Oh no.
He cries and I cry-laugh at the same time too.
"No you're kidding right?" He says and he wipes over his eyes.
"No" I whisper and soon he pulls me in his arms and we both cry.
"I found out 2 weeks ago" I explain and he pulls out and jumps up.
For a second I think he's angry but he smiles and runs around the garden.
"I'M GONNA BE A DAD AGAIN!"
I laugh he his so funny.
"A DAD! THANK YOU LORD! THANK YOU MELODY!" He runs towards me and pulls me up and in a big happy hug.
"I'm gald you're happy" I say.
"So so so happy my love" he kisses my head.

Later that day we lay in bed trying to sleep. Luke's warm hand on my stomach.
"Luke?" I ask.
"Yes beautiful?" He whispers back.
"I'm scared"
"O why?"
"What if the baby also has a heart disease or something else?" I ask and hear him take a deep breath.
"O Julie. It'll be okay. Don't worry over things you can't control okay? You have an appointment tomorrow. It will all be alright darling" he kisses my cheek.
"Okay"
"Goodnight babe"
"Goodnight Patterson"

Luke's pov.
The nurse looks at Julie's tummy through an ultrasound machine. Julie holds my hand tight and I can feel how nervous she is. I'm nervous too but I feel like we deserve good news for one time too!
The nurse smiles and says"It's a healthy little baby. Congrats! You are about 5 months pregnant with this little baby" she points at the screen and I sigh of relief. So little and so cute already!
"Wow so far already?" Julie smiles at me and I smile back holding back tears.
"Is the heartbeat normal?" Julie asks the nurse.
"Wanna hear it?" The nurse smiles and we both nod.
I gasp as I hear the heartbeat. It's so fascinating!
"Everything is completely normal. Your little baby is doing amazing! I will see you again in 3 weeks Julie"

A few days later.

Julie's pov.
I can finally relax again. My baby is healthy and growing like it should. I can't be happier! I got up early and bright feeling so good! I turn on the shower and was just about to pull my shirt over my head as i see a BELLY! A baby belly! I gasp and rub over the bump. I've been bloaded a few days now but I thought it was just gas but no this is a baby bump! It's still small but definitively a bump! I need to show Luke later. I jump in the shower and i just can't stop rubbing my little bump!

I try to close my jeans but it won't work.
"Really?" I sigh and also chuckle at how fast this bump came! Well i guess i need to ask Luke to get me the box with maternity clothes from the closet.
I walk out the bathroom where Luke is up and making the bed.
"Good morning handsome" I smile and he turns around.
"Good morning beautif-"
His mouth drops and soon his hands are on my stomach.
"Oh my god! No way!" He rubs over the small belly and I chuckle.
"It popped overnight!" He smiles and kneels down.
"Hello baby? It's me your dada! Nice to meet you" he says and his lips tickle my naked tummy.
I have to hold back tears.
"I can't even close my jeans" I giggle and he gets up and tries to close them too.
"Mhm yes" Luke laughs and suddenly kisses me.
"I love you Julie Patterson"
"I love you too! Even more when you give me the box with the maternity clothes from the closet"
He chuckles "Sure!"
We both fold the old maternity clothes and put them in my closet so i can actually reach them. It feels strange wearing the same I did with Melody.
But I'm also feeling happy!
