"Luke, may I speak with you for a moment?" John asks barging into our hotel room.
"Oooh, Luke's in trouble." Michael sneers laughing.
"Shut. Up." I mummer before following john out into the hotel hallway.
"What is it?" I ask annoyed.
"What's going on? The boys say you're not in a good mood and rehearsals aren't going well."
John was a weird guy. His skin was tanner then anyone's I've ever seen and his hair was this white blonde color. His hair color inspired Michaels new hair color. He was fun to be around and even though he was in his early forties he acted like us. Like teenage boys.
"I don't want to talk about it." I scuff folding my arms in front of me looking down at the ugly green carpet.
"Is it because of Wylie?" He asks quietly and I wanted to slap him for even saying her name.
I swallow hard. "Don't say her name." I force out.
It had been a week since I had left. I thought maybe this was the right thing to do. To break up with her. Wylie had so much potential and there was no point in her waiting for me to return when in two years it wasn't even a done deal we'd even be back. That's one of the things I regret aside from letting her go. I didn't tell her a lot of things. To her I don't think she fully understood what would be going on. To her I think it was like a dream that in two years if come home and everything would go back to the way things were but they wouldnt. Ever.
"Look, I know how it is. Your first love is the greatest. It's like sex for the first time." He chuckles to himself. "What I'm tryin to say is, is that just when your on that stage, Wylie doesn't exist. And if she does while your up there you play your fucking hardest as if she's the one who hurt you or your tryin to impress her." He pats my shoulder walking down the hall.
"And uh, rehearsals in ten minutes. First shows tonight. Relax. You'll rock it kid." John smiles trying to reassure me.
Rehearsals used to be fun. Now they were too serious and too frequent. We were only a week into all of this and I was already tired of it. Granted, interviews we've had were amazing and fun. Going out and having a few people recognize you was even better. Hard work was what's was going to make all this work. It's just a hard transition.
"Do it again guys." John says annoyed rubbing the top of his head. "Luke sing out more. Mike quit bein so afraid."
I hated this song. We didn't write it. Some buddies of johns did. It's called amnesia and it reminds me too much of her. I get chocked up. We do the song over and over again until my fingers hurt and my throats sore. One hour until the show. One hour. We have never preformed in front of huge crowds and John had said over three hundred people were already at the venue we were going to be playing at.
"Alright. That's a wrap. Good job guys. Go shower up and get ready." John smiles.

"Three, two, one." A crew member I couldn't remember his name says.
Single file, we all head out to the black stage. People roar and scream and there were more then three hundred people here. No doubt. Maybe a few thousand. And silently I'm amazed by how john had gotten the word out so quickly about us. In a whirlwind the concert goes by. Too quickly and I couldn't hide the goofy smile placed on my face. The adrenaline it gave me provided me with a buzz as if I were high or drunk. I felt invincible. I felt powerful.
"Amazing show tonight guys!" John compliments clapping towards us. "Let's go out and celebrate!"
Parties weren't my thing but this was a club. Named The Chill Zone. The letters glow in blue and rap music blares as we stand in line waiting to get in. Social things like this wasn't my thing but john had told us part of being rock stars we had to learn to live like rock stars. A man, a little taller then me and extremely buff shakes Johns hand firmly.
"Been a while man." The bouncer says.
"Well, my boys here played a kick ass show tonight and I figured we'd celebrate." John says with excitement laced in his deep voice.
"They old enough?" The bouncer arches an eyebrow.
"Tonight they are." John laughs.
"Alright dude, you boys have fun. Also there's a lot of hot girls in there tonight so take advantage." He tells the boys and I before unhooking the rope and letting us in.
"I love hot girls." Michael gushes.
This was everything I didn't expect. People drink or drugged out danced to the best of the music. Strippers dance with talent on several poles even some sharing the same pole. Bartenders went around and gave drinks to people while the other stayed behind the bar.
"I don't know about you guys but I'm gonna get laid." Calum shrieks heading by himself to the dance floor.
"What a whore." Ashton laughs. "Let's go get drunk, you need it." Ashton says.
I follow him towards the bar with Michael close behind me. The bar had literally every type of alcohol you could imagine. From beer to Jäger. Ashton orders three beers handing one to each of us.
"Haven't seen you guy here before." The blonde bartender smiles lustfully at us.
"Were in a band." Ashton smirks. "Were just here for a little while."
"Really..." I stop listening to her and examine the whole club.
John jogs up to us grabbing my arm. I ask him where were going but he tells me to just I with it. Soon, we reach a lounge area in front of the stripper poles and he calls somebody by their name. A skinny tall blonde takes a hundred from john.
"Relax, you need this. Camille, give him the best." John pats my shoulder before disappearing into the sea of people.
"What's your name?" She asks standing in front of me.
"L-Luke." I stutter feeling my cheeks heat up.
"Well, Luke," she smiles. "I'm gonna make sure you have the best night of your life." She bends down in front of me whispering in my ear giving me chills.
She straddles me without any warning rolling her body above me. Her bra didn't do her much justice as her nipple slips out but she doesn't care. Her hands caress my face and my chest. If I were to say I wasn't enjoying myself I would be wrong. Her lips attach to my jaw moving their way slowly to my neck. She sucks gently an I knew this was wrong. Even if i wasn't with Wylie my heart was and this wasn't okay. She reaches behind her smiling devilishly at me and slides her bra off.
"Touch me." She leans in whispering in my ear.
"I-I-I..." I stutter.
"Like this." She moans placing my hands I her exposed chest.
"I cant.." I mutter and remove my hands from the stripper. "I'm sorry, I-I..." I push her off literally running away from her.
I sit I the curb outside f the club deep in my own thoughts which was the worst. What just happened was wrong and I regret it. I hear heels clacking behind me and look over to see toes long legs I just got say from.
"Here." I look up and she hands me a cold beer. "Looks like you need it." She sits beside me, now in shorts and a sweatshirt.
"Thanks." I take the cap off taking a huge drink.
"I heard talking about it helps." She mumbles. "Always helps me." She brings her knees to her chest wrapping her arms around them.
"I left her. I didn't have a choice." I shake my head. "I'm in a band so I had to."
"Oh I know you're in a band." She giggles. "Johns a good friend of mine. When he said I'd be giving you a lap dance I got nervous." I look over at her and notice she's blushing. "I'm sorry I made you touch me."
"No, it's okay. I'm just not over this girl. I dot think I ever will be."
"Promise me something?" She places her hand on my thigh and I look into her eyes.
"Sure, yeah." I nod.
"You ever need any company." She blushes biting her lip. "Call me." She hands me a napkin with her number in it. "I hope to see you soon Luke." She kisses my cheeks sanding up and walking down the side walk stepping into a blacked out Ferrari. She honks as she drives by. And I'd also be lying if I said I wasn't going to call her.
