Tubbo angst

5: Chill

They were getting back from the beach, it was about 6:30 ish they had stayed there for like 2 hours almost. They really enjoyed eachothers company. They arrived home and Tubbo took his shoes off. He was getting a little warm in his long sleeve but he knew he couldn't exactly take it off. Speaking of his arm. He went into the bathroom and unwrapped the bandages. 'Jeeze' he thought. He threw the bandages in the trash and put them more at the bottom and got new ones. He rolled his sleeve back down and exited after flushing the toilet to make it seem like he went to piss. Ranboo was laying on the floor when Tubbo got out. "What are you doing?" He asked and he sat down next to him. "Floor" Ranboo responded. Tubbo giggled at that and layed down with him. They were looking up at the ceiling. Ranboo rolled over and looked at Tubbo. "Yea?" Tubbo said still looking at the ceiling "I don't know." Ranboo replied scooting a little closer to Tubbo.

Ranboo's POV
Ranboo scooted a little close to Tubbo. He was on the side of Tubbo's bandaged arm. He started to get a little nervous. 'Why was he getting nervous now? He had been holding hands and hugging Tubbo all day, why is trying to cuddle on the floor making him so nervous? It's just a friendly thing, right?' Ranboo reached over slowly and grabbed Tubbo's hand. He watched as Tubbo tried to hide the smile on his face. 'Did he like him too? No, there's no way. It's just friendly' Ranboo thought to himself. He put his face into Tubbo's arm slightly and put his arm against Tubbo's. That made Tubbo wince a little. "You ok?" Ranboo asked. Tubbo froze "uh yea why?" "You looked like you were in pain for a second" Ranboo replied. "Oh no sorry I must have just made a weird face" Tubbo said chuckling. Ranboo didn't believe him but he, once again, didn't want to intrude. "Hey Toby, mum wants to know what you want for din-" Lani stopped and stared at them on the floor.

Tubbo POV
Lani walked in on them on the floor and started laughing. "What are you lot doing on the floor?" She asked. "The floor was comfortable" Ranboo responded as he sat up. "Anyways what do you guys want for dinner? It's your night to pick" Lani asked the two boys. "I don't really mind what we have" Tubbo responded "what about you Ranboo?" The Tublings looked at Ranboo. "Some sort of breakfast maybe?" He said as more of a question. "Yea alright, I'll have mom make some sort of breakfast for dinner dish then." Lani said and she walked out and left them alone again. "I wonder what they're gonna make." Ranboo said turning his gaze to Tubbo again. "Yea Lani gets creative sometimes when she's helping my mum, you could have some weird ass waffles or pancakes" Tubbo smiled. Ranboo layed back down on the floor with Tubbo as they stared at the ceiling. "You know you should get a star projector or something to make it look like on the ceiling" Ranboo said "are you saying my ceiling is ugly!?" Tubbo said sitting up and staring at Ranboo. "No! I'm just saying to give it some pazzazz!" Ranboo sat up and tried to defend himself as Tubbo held in a laugh.

Time skip to after dinner (they got bee pancakes b/c Lani was allowed to color the batter)

No POV
It was 7:20 ish. Ranboo and Tubbo got done with dinner and were now in the shared space on the sofa. Tubbo had put on South Park and Ranboo was scrolling on his phone while he listened to the tv. They were on opposite sides of the small couch and Ranboo had his legs extended while Tubbo was curled up, invested in his show. Ranboo finally put his phone away after a bit and turned his gaze once again to Tubbo. He was fixated on the tv and Ranboo studied the way Tubbo smiled and giggled at it. He looked at the tv and watched with him. They watched it for about 2 hours, not realizing that the time went by that fast. Tubbo checked his phone and saw that it was close to 9:40 ish. "Oh! It's almost 10 I forgot to shower!" Tubbo said turning off his show and quickly getting up to the loft to grab clothes. Ranboo pulled out his phone and saw the time as well and figured he might shower and go to sleep after Tubbo was done.

Tubbo POV
Tubbo hopped out of the shower and put a towel around his waist. He took his other towel and started drying his hair. He had taken his bandages off to shower and decided to just put them back on instead of changing them because they weren't exactly bloody. Tubbo looked at himself in the mirror. He looked exhausted. Showers did not wake him up like the rest of his family. His arm stung a little but he soon wrapped the bandages back around his arm and put on his hoodie. He took the towel off and changed into new boxers and pants. He grabbed his dirty clothes, hung up his towels and went out of the bathroom to throw his clothes in the baskets near the laundry room. He walked back and Ranboo was near the bathroom. "Are you done in there?" He asked politely. Tubbo nodded and walked past him.

Ranboo POV
Ranboo walked into the bathroom, locked the door, got the water ready and started the shower. He set his phone on the counter and put his clothes on the closed toilet. He got undressed and stepped in the shower.

Once he was finished, he turned the shower off and stepped out. He dried himself off and put his clothes on. He brushed his medium length hair and shook his head. His hair was damp and fluffy. He hung the towel Tubbo told him to use back up, grabbed his dirty clothes and walked out to put them in the laundry room. He went back to the shared space and found Tubbo on the loft looking at his phone. "Hey are you going to bed?" He asked from the bottom of the ladder. Tubbo looked up from his phone, "I was gonna try cause I'm a little tired and I don't wanna be up till 3 am" tubbo said laughing a little at the end. Ranboo said alright and walked over to the sofa to pull out the bed. He made the bed and plugged his phone in putting his headphones on. He walked over to the lights and turned them off as he saw Tubbo was already in bed with his eyes closed. He crawled into bed and put on his sleep playlist. He closed his eyes and layed on his side. His brain slowed it's thoughts and Ranboo slowly drifted into a peaceful sleep.

I forgot I write n shit so that's why this chapter is a little late. I've been busy streaming with my friend and trying to get back to uploading YouTube vids n shit. I will try to get more chapters done but it might be a little slow cause brain likes to malfunction when writing. 🥲
