Aura's POV

"Well, let's get going."

Poseidon started to swim towards a tunnel at the very bottom of the pool. Everyone started to follow him, while Ace stayed back a bit. "Come on Aura, I'll be in the back." He said. I nodded my head at him and continued.

We exited the tunnel to find ourselves in the middle of the ocean. We kept swimming down the ocean, a couple of fishes came by us, swimming around us and then disappearing. I looked to the left of me to see Kai there.

"The fish here like to swim around us, before continuing on their way. Sometimes we will have dolphins come squeal at us, they are playful little things. They won't go all the way to the palace, but they will continue as far as they can go. Deeper down, we also get sharks, they just follow us and are sometimes playful. They also protect us sometimes from unkind creatures in the ocean." Kai said, explaining all the aquatic animals swimming around us. 

As we got deeper, I definitely noticed the sharks that he was talking about being around here. They seemed to have noticed us and was swimming around us. The shark seem to have noticed there were more people than normal. Because it stopped us from continuing and looked at every single one of us.

"Nel, we have two new people coming with us. Do you need to meet them?" Kano said to whom I assume is the shark. The shark nodded its head. "Alright, Scar and Aura can you come up here?" Kano asked.

I swam up to where Kano said to go. Scar and I were in front of the shark as it looked straight at us. It turned to Kano and headed towards the way we were headed. It seems my dragon is healed, because I felt her look through my eyes slightly. The shark turned back around and looked at us.

"He wants us to follow him to the palace, so we don't have to deal with any other sharks trying to see the new people we brought. Also I'm assuming Kai explained somewhat the sharks do to you, Aura. Did you hear Kai talk Scar?" Kano asked Scar. "No, not about the sharks, I did hear about the fish and dolphins." Scar said.

"Well, I'll explain this now, but let's keep swimming before Nel becomes impatient." Kano said. Nel wacked his tail against Kano in response to that, while Kano tried to dodge it while laughing.

"Well *laugh*, basically sharks do follow us down here, or in our case lead us. They can be playful, as you also could see. But they also are our guards from unkind creatures in the ocean. They originally weren't supposed to guard us, but that's a story for another time." Kai looked far away at that thought.

"There is ranks for the sharks, currently we are following one of the higher ranks of the sharks. We are following him, for a couple of reasons. For one, we would constantly get stopped because we have new people coming to the underwater palace and not the land palace. Another reason is that we personally know him, he will keep the lower-rank sharks from stopping us." Kano explained.

While he was explaining, I did see a lot of sharks about to come over, until they saw Nel. They kept on going the way they were going before. As we were getting close to the palace, I started to notice other merpeople waving at Poseidon and his family. A couple of them were a little crazy about Kai, Kano, and Ace. Both genders were trying to get their attention.

Some merpeople saw Scar and I, they seemed a little curious. Once we got to the walls of the kingdom, the guards let us through. I looked around the kingdom with awe, because on the outside it didn't appear lively, but once you come in here everything was very lively.

"There is a shield around the kingdom, it helps to show intruders that there is nothing going on inside, but at the same time the shield let the merpeople be as loud as they want making no noise outside the shield." Ace spoke next to me. I nodded my head at that, assuming my face still showed my awe.

Nel slowed down , letting me look around at the buildings and the people. I looked around noticing some people have aquatic plants and flowers down here. There was even a plant shop in the kingdom.

"How are you able to keep flowers down here?" I asked Ace. He looked over at me and then to where I was looking. He smiled sadly, "My uncle helped us figure out to have flowers down here. We were able to keep some down here, with a little bit of experimenting." I glanced at him, then back over by the flowers. There was one flower that seemed to not be doing well, when I went to look closer my head started to hurt, making me collapse. Ace seemed to be talking to me, I couldn't tell if any of the other guys were trying to talk to me. I put my hand to my head.

~Flashback~

"Come on! I want to see if they have it!"

"Slow down, we will get there in time. I doubt they are open yet."

"Still! I want to be the first one there!"

~End of Flashback~

I gasped as I opened my eyes. 'What was that, why couldn't I see who was talking? And who were those voices?'

"Aura, are you okay?" I felt someone grab my arm. I looked up to see Poseidon had grabbed my arm, while the guys were all huddling around us making sure no onlookers were looking over. I nodded my head. I could feel a headache coming up. I groaned a bit. "Come on, let's get you to the palace. I will have someone check on you. Can you swim?"

"Yes, I can." I started getting up ready to swim. The rest of the boys looked unsure, Scar looking everywhere to make sure I was okay. "Okay, then let's get going." Poseidon said. The boys were still somewhat surrounding me with Kai in front with Poseidon, Scar to the left of me, Kano to the right of me, and Ace still behind me.

We started to approach the palace, but when we were about to enter it, Scar collapsed.

Q: What would you name your music playlist?

I will be taking a break from posting for a week or two after this gets posted, only on this book. I will only have one chapter for next month. And more than likely I will have October be one chapter, too.
