Aura's POV

It has been a couple of days since the first training with our dragons, and we have gotten better at fighting with them.

Currently, we were told to take some hours off, so I was reading in the library. I finished the first book Ace let me borrow before I went on to the next one.

I am halfway through the 2nd book, but I wanted to look into the history of the families to see if they had that. The one back at the Ocean's family, it seemed like a page was ripped out, or it had disappeared.

The weird part was that it seemed like it was the same for this one as well. But it looked like it disappeared. I've also been trying to find Field's and Storm's as well, but right when the next part goes, it looks like a page is missing.

I was going to look for the lights book as well to see if they had all the families in there, but I haven't been able to find it so far. For both of the families, I found them in the next aisles, but when I checked the next ones, they showed different families.

I was still looking for the book when I heard a soft sound in the distance. I looked toward the sound to see nothing. I was going to look back at the books, but just as I was turning to look, I heard it again.

It was on the opposite side of the library, so I slowly went over. Where I thought the sound came originally was in one aisle. I was hoping the sound would come again, but I didn't hear it. I went through the books and stopped at one book. On the spine, it was called "The memories once there".

Right as I touched the book, I felt my head go back, and everything slowly went black.

I felt myself wake up when I looked around; all I saw was black. "Hello?" I said, hearing myself echo. I tried to feel for Aqua, but I heard nothing. I tried walking, but I felt myself stuck in place.

"You are not ready to learn these memories," a voice said out in the distance. "In due time, you will be able to trust those around you, but beware of the shadows lurking around."

The voice stopped, right as everything started getting blurry. I saw a figure holding something in their hands. They looked like their mouth were moving, but before I could read what they were saying, my vision went black.

".........ra .........p....... Aura! Wake up!"

I opened my eyes to see Ace over me, along with Kai, a little behind him. I slowly got sat up, with a little help from Ace. Once I was able to look around, I noticed I was still in the library.

"What happened Aura?" Kai asked as he crouched down to the level I was at.

I shook my head. "I....... Don't know....." I was still stunned from the vision. Both Ace and Kai looked at each other in concern.

"Let's get you to the infirmary, just to make sure you are okay," Kai said, helping me get up. While on the way to the infirmary, Kai was in front, while Ace was behind me. Once we got there, the nurse had me sit down on the bed.

She went through all the necessary steps. "It looks like she just hit her head. I would put some ice on, but otherwise you should be good!"

Both Kai and Ace looked concerned still, but seemed to let it go, for now. The nurse gave me an ice pack to put on my head. 

Once we got out of the infirmary, we started to head towards our rooms. It was about to be dinner in a couple of hours, so we all decided to go into Ace's room. I went to sit down on a chair while putting the ice pack on my head. A couple of minutes after we got in, both Kano and Scar were walking in.
 

I was sitting near Ace reading the second book, when Kano came up to me along with Scar. "Aura, I heard what happened in the library. Are you okay? Did you hurt your head at all?" Kano asked. Scar was looking at me in concern as well.

"I'm okay, it was just a bump," I told them, looking up from my book. They both still looked worried. "If you say so," Scar said. They both went over to the chess area.

It was about an hour before dinner would be ready when I decided to put down the book. Both Kai and Scar were in a game of chess at the moment. I put my book on the side table of Ace's bed before walking over to sit next to where Kai and Scar were playing.

I kept watching them in their intense match. Scar was chasing Kai around trying to trap his king to win, before eventually winning the game.

Perfect timing as well, a maid knocked on the door letting us know that dinner was ready.

We all got ready to leave before I decided to bring the book into my room. Once I walked outside of my room, we were ready to go. 

We had our dinner while talking about how our training is going. I was told by the Queen to wait a moment along with Autumn and Chase before going to bed. 

"For our training tomorrow, we will be working on fighting in our dragon forms, with your powers. I know you will be going up against the dark version of yourselves most likely, but I will have you focused on hitting on some sort of dummy for you to attack in your element. This also means we will be working on it in your human form as well." She told us. The Queen looked over at me, "I know your 2nd form is a mermaid, I won't be helping with that training. It will be the Ocean family that will help you with it."

She looked over at Chase, "The Storm family will also help you with your Griffin form. And Autumn, the Field family will help you as well." She went on to say we were free to go.

There will be a 2nd chapter later on this week, along with posting the chapters. In September, I will be going back to posting one chapter, but in October I won't be posting at all. Only for Creations I will be posting on because I have everything prescheduled.
