Aura's POV

"We would like to fight. I refuse to let him waste more of my time." I told the King. 

"Alright-" The King was cut off by a soldier approaching him. The soldier was whispering something into his ear. "Thank you for telling me this, you are good to go." The King said to him. 

The soldier left the meeting room, while we saw the King messing around with a holographic screen. "It turns out, the attack  on the kingdom has been put on hold. But I was told the Dark King would like to speak. If you need to leave, please do. I would like for you guys not to be uncomfortable." 

"Will he be able to see us?" Scar asked. "Yes, but if you would like I can blur your figures for the hologram." The King said. He seemed to already be in the motion of doing it. "Yes, please." Scar said. 

"Will you be able to blur both Ren, Talia, Autumn, and myself as well?" Chase asked. "Yes, I will be able to as well." The King said. 

Once the King got my cousins, Scar and I blurred, a call from the Dark King appeared. I saw the King put on an emotionless face. 

We saw the hologram of his body pop up in front of the meeting table. "Testing, testing," I shivered hearing his voice again. He was sitting down on a throne, he was relaxed looking over at us.

"Well, it seems to be working. Hello Light King and everyone else, have you thought about my request?" The Dark King said. 

"Hello, Dark King. We have, we won't be giving them up. You'll have to force them out of our hands before we give you them." The Light King said. 

The Dark King didn't look pleased, "Hmmm.... well if that's going to be it, I believe we will start a war. I would like it to be fair, I would love the pleasure of destroying everyone when they are at their strongest. How about in 3 weeks' time, we meet at the stone bridge for the final battle?"

"Don't worry we won't be losing any time soon, we will see you at that time." The Light King said as he ended the call. He turned back over to us with a serious face. "If you're still willing to fight, we will need to make sure you are well equipped to fight. And also to see what you need to improve on."

I nodded my head. That's a smart idea, it has been a while, and I know I'm rusty. The King clapped his hands, standing up. "I will get everything prepared for the training. But before we get on to doing that I will set up everyone's bedroom and have food be ready soon." He said.

Ace walked over to us. "Scar, Aura, we have our bedrooms here already, your rooms are next to us. Come, I'll show you." We walked next to Ace with Kai and Kano following us. 

We walked down a hallway then turned down another before Ace stopped. "This is the start of our rooms, the one to our left is Father's. To the right of his is Kai's and to the right of him will be yours, Scar. Across from Father's is mine, to the left of me is Kano's, and to the left of his is yours, Aura." Ace told us. I nod my head. "If you want to look at your room, you can. I will be in my room." I thought about it. "I will also be with Ace as well, will you come as well Kai?" Kano asked. "I will!" Kai said. 

"I'll check the room, then." I said quietly. "Alright that's fine, a person will come down when the food is ready." Ace said before walking into his room with Kai and Kano following. 

I looked over to Scar, to see him also looking at me. "Once we both check our rooms, do you want to meet out here before going to Ace's room?" Scar asked me. "Yes, I will meet you here." I told him, before heading over to my bedroom. 

It was a big room, there was a bed in the middle of the left wall with two nightstands on either side. On the right wall, there was a door leading to a bathroom, next to that door was a walk-in closet. On the wall in front of me, there was a desk sitting right under a window, there was also a balcony to the right of it. There were also some chairs around a table as well.

I went over to the bed to set down my bag, there was only the shell bra and a couple of other clothes. I went back over to the door to the hallway and went out. I had to wait a bit more for Scar, but he was just a few minutes after me. We both walked over to Ace's room. I knocked on the door, hearing a 'Come in!'

Once we went inside, I saw almost the same layout of my room except a bit bigger. Ace was on the bed reading a book. Both Kai and Kano were on the chairs, they looked like they were playing chess. "Ah, hello Aura and Scar, how do you like the rooms?" Ace asked putting his book down. "It's okay." Scar said shrugging his shoulders. I nodded towards him, saying it was okay as well.

"Do you want to switch with me Scar? Kai is good at chess." Kano said. Scar shrugged his shoulders before walking over there. I walked over to Ace, "Do you have any other books?" I asked him. He smiled, "Yes, I do. If you give me a type of genre I can give you a book or if you would like to see all the books I have I can show you, so you can choose." Ace said. 

"Can I see the books?" I asked him. He nodded his head smiling. He showed me where his books were before heading back to the bed. "If you would like, you can also sit on my bed while you're reading." He said. 

I nodded my head. I looked through the books before deciding on one. It looked familiar, but I don't remember from where. I walked over to Ace sitting cross-legged on his bed reading the book. 

We just continued doing that until someone knocked on the door.

I know that I could probably post this during August, but I want to have something for you during the next 3 months. I'm starting to get a lot more busy. I will say I think this also helps me to get things done faster.

Edit: Chapter 23 is actually almost half way done. It might be finished by the time it comes out.
