Aura's POV

After we left the meeting, we were told to head towards the training room. As we were all lined up, the Queen and King came in. The Queen wore different gear from her usual dress, while the King wore his training gear.

"This time for training, we are doing things differently. Aura, Autumn, and Chase if you could stand with me. As for Scar, Ren, and Talia could you stand next to Apollo? While everyone else will be with different trainers, you will be doing some different training as well." The Queen said. "Now we will be going into our different teams, please follow Aura, Autumn, and Chase." 

We followed the Queen to an outside door. When we went through, it led us outside to a large training area. 

"This will be where we will be training." The Queen said. She walked more in the open, "Here we will be training with your dragons. The first thing we will do is shift into our dragons, and let out for a bit before we start our training." The Queen said. 

'Aqua, are you ready? We will be seeing Wisp and Petra. I'm also assuming we will be seeing the Queen's dragon as well.' I said. I felt Aqua moving around before she responded. 'Yes, I am ready.'

We started our shifting process, when we finished both Wisp and Petra were in front of us. There was also another dragon. I turned my head to look over at the other dragon, there was a yellow dragon, a bit bigger than the us three. 

I felt a little static in my mind. 

'Someone is trying to connect, I believe it is the Queen. Do you mind if she contacts us?' I asked Aqua. There was a silence before I heard a response. 'I will allow it.' Aqua said. 

The static slowly became clear, 'C....ou... ear me? Can you hear me, Aura?' I heard the Queen's voice. I focused on her voice. 'Yes, I can hear you.' I told her. 

'Good!' I could hear her smile. 'I will now try to contact Autumn and Chase. If you would like to look around the area, you can. I am also the light dragon you see in front of you.' Ah, that is what I figured. 'Ok.'

I looked around the arena, it was pretty plain besides some trees in the distance. I looked farther past the trees, there was a wall, big enough that the Queen's dragon if standing tall was just under the top of the wall. It seems the walls were wrapped around this area of the training.

I looked back over to where the Queen, Autumn, and Chase were. The Queen was about done with Autumn. I'm assuming she finished with Chase, I believe he was after me. 

'I believe everyone should be able to hear me now.' The Queen spoke, ' We will be doing some things differently. If you have noticed there is a wall around this training area. You can go anywhere around this area, just don't go outside of the wall. I will let you explore and then we will start our training.'  

I walked around the area, there were fewer trees, I'm assuming they either got taken out or they just had a few planted. There were some marks on the ground, but I also noticed that something came through here to grow more greenery around. I looked around some more before we were called back. 

'Everyone come back, we will be starting our training.' The Queen said. We all came back. I see that Chase and Autumn are also looking at the burn marks on the ground along with everything else. 

'The first thing we will be doing is knowing you will most likely have a rider on you. For when we go into battle, there are dragon riders that the Guardian dragons are bound with. For me, it is the King. It could be a family member, someone you are close with, or a future spouse of yours. We will be trying out the saddles later on, but I would like to start with your flying. May I see how everyone usually flies?' The Queen asked.

'Did you want us to go one by one, or just fly off together?' Chase asked. The Queen moved her head to look at him, 'You can move all together if you would like, I am mostly looking to see how everyone is fast flying or how your normal speed is when you're relaxed.'

Chase took off from the ground, while Autumn and I were a bit slower getting off. It felt nice flying, we were relaxed while flying, I did noticed that Chase was just a tad bit faster.

'Would you guys mind going faster?  I would like to see how fast you can go.'  The Queen said. Chase started going faster while Autumn and I were going as fast as we could. 'Alright, I think that is good for now, if you would please come back down.' The Queen said. 

When we all got down, the Queen walked over to us. 'I believe we know what we need to work on. I have noticed despite being relaxed, Chase is faster than both of you. You two have your own speeds indeed, but you are around the same speed. Even when you were trying to go fast.'

The Queen pondered for a bit, she looked over at me. 'I know that you are a water dragon, even if you flew as best as you could. I want to know how fast your swimming is. Unfortunately, I don't feel comfortable bringing you out to the Ocean, we do have a lake if you would like to use that?'  The Queen asked me.  

I thought about it, 'I didn't see it around here, but if she says there is a lake. Would it be big enough?' I looked back over to the Queen, 'It depends on how big it is, but maybe.' 

We started to head over to the lake.
