Aura's POV

I woke up to knocking on the door, followed by a voice. "Miss Aura, Sir Scar, it is time to wake up. Sir Poseidon would like you to come to the table for breakfast."

I slowly got up from my bed and went over to the closet to look for a shell bra while Scar waited outside so he could come out with me. Once we got out, Clarissa and another merperson was there. "Hello Miss Aura, this is Sir Scar's butler, Bruce. Now will you please follow us to the dining room?" Clarissa asked.

As we made our way over, I heard a lot of bustling around. Once we got to the dining room, Clarissa and Bruce left us at the door, heading elsewhere. As we entered the dining room, the tone shifted and suddenly felt serious.

Poseidon glanced over at us, "Aura, Scar, come sit down." We sat down and the chefs entered with the food. There were small side conversations, but it was otherwise silent as we ate our meal. Once everyone finished, Poseidon got everyone's attention. "Would everyone please follow me to my office?" He asked. Everyone nodded before standing to following him.

As we got to his office, I noticed there was a letter on his desk. Once the door closed behind us, that serious tone sunk in again. "We recieved a letter from the Queen and King. They've found out what the enemy has been up to. Aura and Scar, I am aware of your situation, what with being fresh out of imprisonment, but this includes both of you." Scar and I made eye contact, him looking just as uneasy as I felt.

'Aqua, are you there? Are you feeling better?' I asked. 'I'm here. Yes, I am feeling better.' I heard her say. She did sound better. 'Please listen to this conversation.' I told her. 'Don't worry, I am."

"Our spy on the inside is keeping us well informed. It's how we were able to find Aura and her cousins, and how Talia was able to find Scar and his cousins." Poseidon said. "They want to meet back at the castle. The meeting will be in two days time, so we must prepare for departure."

"Everyone is free to do their own thing for the time being, but I would like Ace to stay. Kai and Kano, wait for me in your office and . I will come to you. For now, complete anything you must do before I arrive."

"Yes, Father." Poseidon's sons said.

"Scar and Aura, worry not about packing your things. Your servants will do it for you. They are already aware of what you will need to bring to the meeting. If there is anything else that you would like to bring, let them know and they will get it packed as well. For now, feel free to visit the city, or explore the castle. Do inform us if you plan to visit the city and bring a guard with you." He told us.

I decided to head to the library to find more about the Royal Family, and see if there are any more pages missing. I watched Scar head towards the city. On my way to the library, I checked up on Aqua.

'What do you think?' I asked her. She hesitated before answering, 'I feel that we need to stay vigilant, I have a feeling something is to occur before the meeting. Something bad.' She answered. "Okay.." My mind reeled with possibilities of things that could go wrong.

She took a while to answer again. 'I think it would be wise to try and mindlink your cousins to gain insight on what their plans may be. See what their dragons are thinking. Don't worry too much. Enjoy the library.' She said before disappearing into the back of my mind. I looked up at the library door, taking a deep breath as I push the door open.

'I might as well go ahead and get the book before I mindlink them. Maybe see what books there are about the timezones, and how they might be different for specific places.'

3rd POV

You can hear the snap of a whip hitting skin.

"So are you going to tell me what you know? No? You can't stay silent forever."

"Are. You. The. Spy?!" A voice spat. The person underneath was severely beat, with sword and whip wounds. They shook their head frantically. "Don't lie to me!" they yelled again.

"Sir!" Another rushed into the room. "What?! Can't you see I'm doing something?!" A person yells. The person that rushed in winced, "Yes, of course- but sir, we have news. They've been found!" The Boss whips his head around to look at the person.

"What? What do you mean they have been found?! How?" The Boss shouts. The person winced again. "Yes Sir, they have been found. We heard from a general that the others escaped." The person said.

"Tell everyone to get into the meeting room, now!" The person ran out of the room to do as he said. The Boss looked over to the injured person, "I'll deal with you later. Guards come chain him. Keep him alive so I can deal with him later."

As the Boss walked out, the guards walked in grabbing underneath his shoulders dragging him to his cell.

Little bit of a shorter chapter, sorry about that. Also sorry for the long wait, I'm hoping I will be able to finish some more chapters this month. Recently my work schedule has me going in early, so I am hoping I will be able to do more. Also I just recently got a puppy, so I'm trying to be more active writing.

Also I might be adding onto the side character list or I might not, I don't know for sure.
