You stand on one of 24 metal plates, surrounding a golden Cornucopia. Standing to your left and right on the other plates are both friends and enemies from your years at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Malfoy, Crabbe and Goyle stand closest to you, sneering; while Ron and Hermione stand a distance away giving you a sad smile, before concentrating on the treasures in front of them. You too turn your eyes to the prizes scattered before you.
On the ground around the horn lie wands, potions, magical artifacts, and an assortment of muggle weapons. Your mentor and godfather, Sirius, has instructed you to try for a wand, since that is the best opportunity for your survival; but the wands are inside the mouth of the horn. You aren't sure whether you can make it that far before being overcome, especially since Draco appears to have you marked for an early kill.
But then you see it, laying just to the right of the horn, a slim holly stick that you would recognize anywhere: your wand!
You knew there was a chance that some of the Tribute's actual wands might make an appearance in the Arena, but you never imagined that Voldemort would allow yours in. You set your eyes on it debating whether you could survive long enough to claim it.
Suddenly the gong sounds, and it's time to move.
Should you: A.) Go to the Cornucopia and get your wand. or B.) Run Away
