Fight! Fight Back! you tell yourself. You know that if you give in, it will surely be the end of you, and you are not going to let Voldemort win this easily. The world begins to come back into focus, and you grasp the knife in your hands. Rolling over, you are just in time to see the bird making its final swoop toward you, fangs barred. This is it, one chance. With all your remaining strength, you throw the knife. It finds its home deep in the Muttation's chest, and with a guttural sound, the bird falls to the ground dead.

Dawn is breaking, and you slowly look around and see Hermione and Ron still lying on the ground, but the rise and fall of their chests is a welcome sign. They are still alive, you all are for the moment. You know you need to take cover and take care of your wounds, but you are too tired to move. Slowly you make your way over to them.

"Ron? Hermione?" you say as you shake them gently.

Ron's eyes open almost immediately, but you can tell he is weak from blood loss. Hermione is a bit slower about waking, but when she finally comes round, she suddenly sits bold upright. Her eyes locking on yours and she reaches out to hug you tightly.

"You're all right. We're all right."

"Hey, what about me?" Ron replies, a bit of jealous tone to his voice.

"Oh Ron!" she crawls to him and hugs him tightly. "Let's get you fixed up."

With some effort you are able to get yourselves and Ron to a clump of thick underbrush.

"This will work for now," Hermione says pulling the dittany out of her bag. She treats Ron first, then you, then herself. You can feel the relief almost instantly as the dittany heals your wounds, but the weakness still remains. Hermione makes you all eat and drink something, before insisting that you move.

"Let's try to find our way back to the tent." she says looking at Ron. "It'll be easier to get rest if we are well hidden."

"Hermione, how are we going to find it? It's enchanted to be unseen, remember?" you ask.

"I made marks nearby, when we are in the right spot. I'll know." she replies.

You don't argue, you feel very vulnerable sitting out in the forest. But which way do you go?

Suddenly the light is obscured by something falling. You look up to see a long thin package descending attached to a silver parachute. A gift from a sponsor!

"Thank you Sirius" you whisper.

You unwrap it quickly, and find a simple broomstick, with a note attached. "GOOD FOR ONE FLIGHT ONLY! USE WISELY!"

Looking at the broom you are sure it would hold all three of you safely, and it might be easier to find your camp from the air. It would be a challenge to fly amongst these trees, but you are pretty sure with your abilities, you can navigate through them.

Should you: A.) Use the Sponsor's gift now or B.) Save it for later
