"Let's keep going" you say. "Put some distance between us and them." Your voice quavers as you think about who your new enemies are. You know that, for the most part, the majority are friends-- friends who are being forced to do the unthinkable to stay alive. How many have you lost all ready?
"Okay," Ron says a bit reluctantly, but he begins walking without argument.
You head north through the trees, wands at the ready in the case of any danger. After all, there aren't just Tributes to worry about, there could be anything hiding in these trees. The area doesn't look to different than the Forbidden Forest near Hogwarts, and you know all to well the dangers that lurk within it.
You walk in silence for over an hour, and you swear you've seen the same tree at least three times.
"I would give anything to have the Marauder's Map," you say. "I think we are going in circles."
"Forget knowing where we are," Ron says longingly. "We'd know where everyone else was."
You walk a bit further and find a nice niche in the trees, and decide to set up camp for the night. It's starting to get too difficult to see and you don't want to risk lighting your wands. Just as you start to look around for branches you can use to help camouflage the area, you notice Hermione digging around in her beaded bag.
"Uh Hermione, I don't think there's anything in a bag that small that we can make a shelter with." you say. You know your voice has a sarcastic tone to it, but you can't help but be frustrated at her apparent lack of help.
"Don't let appearances fool you," she replies as she incredibly pulls a tent out of her bag. "Undetectable extension charm."
"Brilliant," Ron exclaims.
"Erecto," Hermione says pointing her wand at the tent.
Instantly, the tent is set up and you take a few moments performing defensive enchantments to hide your location from others.
You are about to head inside to take stock of your resources, when the Ministry theme begins playing.
Pictures of those who died today begin to flash in the sky...Lavender, Parvati, Padma, Fleur, Colin, Katie, Angelina and Fred.
Fred.
You turn to Ron, but he walks into the tent without a word.
"Let him go," Hermione says, touching your shoulder. After a few moments, you both head inside; deciding it's time to go through your bags. You, of course, have the canteen, though it is now under half full. Thankfully Aguamenti works inside the arena, so water isn't a problem. Inside the rucksack you find various Muggle camping supplies, a jack knife, a pan for cooking, dehydrated food, jerky, and trail mix. You know it's not a lot, but since food is the one thing you cannot create by magic, it's a very exciting find.
Hermione's beaded bag it turns out contains not only the tent, but also a small bottle of dittany, and a sneakoscope.
"This will come in handy" she says as she puts the sneakoscope near the door to the tent, "At least we'll have a warning someone is coming."
You each eat a small bag of dried fruit, and get ready to lay down for a rest. Ron offers to take the first watch, so you and Hermione can get some much needed sleep. Your dreams are not peaceful, however, and after a few short hours you are awake, relieving Ron of his watch.
The sky begins to lighten as dawn breaks when suddenly the sneakoscope begins to whir. Someone is approaching.
Hermione and Ron wake up quickly, eyes wide. Listening you can hear crying from somewhere close by the tent.
"Stay here" you whisper to the others, as you creep out the door. Still within the walls of Hermione's protective enchantments you can see a small figure sitting on a nearby rock: Cho Chang. She appears to be alone and her face is streaked with tears from crying. You decide to approach her, but do so with great caution.
"Cho?" you say, remaining behind a tree.
"Harry, is...is....that....yoooou?" Cho stutters out.
"Yes. Are you okay? Are you hurt?" you ask.
"No-o" she breaks down in sobs again. "I'm all...all alone. Cedric...he...he..turned on me. I only just got...got away from him."
"I'm sorry Cho." you reply.
"Do you...you...think I could...join you? I...I...just can't stand being alone." she chokes out.
Should you: A.) Let Cho join your alliance or B.) Take the opportunity and attack her
