You don't hesitate, and run at top speed toward your wand. You can hear the shouts and screams of the other Tributes as the fight begins. You don't look around to see what's going on, your mind and feet focused on your goal. Suddenly you hear Hermione's voice shout:
"Harry, duck!"
You dive to the ground just in time to avoid a knife to the back. You see a wand just to your right and grab for it, ready to defend yourself. Then Draco appears in front of you snatching your wand off the ground, and aiming it directly at you.
"Harry Potter killed by his own wand, how poetic." he sneers.
You've never even tried to cast the killing curse, but, with all the anger built up inside of you at Draco right now, you certainly feel ready to try.
"AVADA-" You both begin to speak in unison, when suddenly Draco is hit with a spell from the side and falls over like a statue.
Rising up, you see spells shooting left and right around you, and bodies strewn on the ground. Not taking the time to figure out who's alive or dead, you grab rucksack with who knows what inside and a canteen. A flash of red just to your right, and know it's time to disperse. You have a moment's hesitation, wondering if you should wrestle your wand out of Malfoy's frozen hand, but you think better of it, knowing it isn't worth the risk.
Dodging and ducking around the spells, you realize you need to make a decision as to where to go.
Should you: A.) Go right toward the field with tall grass or B.) Go left and run into the dark forest
