You know it could be risky, but you can't help but trust this creature is the real thing. You approach it cautiously, only to see that it's not alone, there are at least half a dozen hidden in the trees ahead. The thestrals are as skittish of you as you are of them, but after offering a bit of jerky from the beaded bag, they show a little more interest. You each feed one, and then mount the creatures. Hermione insists on riding with someone, so she climbs aboard with Ron. You lean forward and whisper. "Take us to our base camp."
The thestral appears to nod it's head and then takes off into the trees ahead at a break neck speed. He doesn't take to the air, but does appear to zoom through the trees quickly. After about twenty minutes, you stop in front of cluster of trees and Hermione squeaks.
"This is it! See there's my mark."
You look down where she points and see a small mark etched onto a tree. You disembark from the thestrals, feeding them a bit more jerky and thanking them for their help. They scamper off into the woods, and you make your way into the tent, wands at the ready just in case. You are relieved to see that it has miraculously remained untouched.
"Her...my...o...nee...you're a genius." Ron yawns. "You too Harry." and he nods off instantly into sleep.
Hermione offers to take first watch and remarkably you pass out for a few hours of actual dreamless sleep; no small part owed to the fact that the sneakoscope is back on duty. After several hours, you are all awake and refreshed from your sleep, and decide it's time to eat. Hermione pulls out the last of the dried fruit from the bag. You know you're going to have to figure something out soon because what little you have left is not going to last long.
As you are about to remark on this, a trumpet sounds...
"Attention Tributes! Lord Voldemort would like to congratulate you for making it this far in the Games, and as a reward he offers you an invitation to a feast. This feast will not contain food, but will have one item that will help any one of you get further in the Games. And, if used wisely, could result in your victory! The feast will begin at the Cornucopia at the sound of the horn at daybreak tomorrow. Think carefully about your choice. For some of you this could be your only chance of survival.'
You look at Ron and Hermione, something that will help "One" of you, Twelve tributes left. One item. This is not going to end well.
Should you: A.) Attend the feast or B.) Stay away
