Shinobu found Y/N and Kanao sleeping peacefully in their pillow fort.
Neither were in their futons.
Instead, they cuddled together underneath a blanket.
Shinobu smiled warmly.
She left the room to get Kanae.
"Aw~! So cute~!" Kanae cooed.
Shinobu nodded, though she couldn't help but feel a small twinge of jealousy.
'Stop thinking like this, Shinobu. Kanao's been through too much. She deserves this...' She thought to herself.
The jealousy wouldn't go away.
"Should we wake them up," she asked Kanae.
"No, let them sleep in. It's Saturday! Ah! Speaking of Saturday! I'm going to be late for work! I'll see you later, imoto!"
Kanae dashed out of the room.
She worked part-time at a small flower shop, but she was also in college studying to be a lepidopterist.
"Sayonara, nee-san~!' Shinobu called after her.
She returned her gaze to Y/N and Kanao.
Her smile faltered slightly.
She sighed and walked out of the room.

WhenY/N woke up, Kanao was on top of her.
Her eyes widened as she looked away flustered.

Y/N reached for her phone and looked at the notification.
S/N had texted her: 'Ne, Y/N? Why aren't you home? Are you mad at me? Was it something that I said? I'm sorry if I upset you. Please come home. I'm worried.'
Y/N texted her back: 'I'm at Kanao's place. I'm not mad at you. I'll come home later.'
Kanao shuffled around.
She opened her eyes and looked down at Y/N.
She squealed and backed away.
Y/N giggled at Kanao's red face.
"Ohayo, Kanao!"
Kanao covered her face in embarrassment.
"Well, look who's awake~!"
Shinobu came into the room with two plates of food.
"Ah-! Onee-san!"
Kanao jumped up and tried to push Shinobu out of the room.
Despite being smaller than Kanao, Shinobu didn't budge.
"What's wrong, Kanao? Is there something that you don't want me to see?"
Shinobu tilted her head innocently, though there was a look in her eyes that looked dangerous.
Kanao shook her head vigorously.
Shinobu giggled.
"I'm kidding~"
Shinobu's gaze fell on Y/N.
A light blush fell on her cheeks as her smile widened slightly.
