Yuu and Grim ran toward the hall of mirrors and found Ace walking towards it
"Yeah right, like I'm gonna was a hundred windows. I'm just gonna go back and-" he mubbled to himself
Grim sprinted towards Ace claws outstretched towards Ace's head "AHA! GOTCHA, PUNK!" He yelled triampantly completely missing Ace. Yuu pinched the bridge of his nose in exasperation.
"Wah-?! You two found me already??" He said in surprised and ran for it.
"Stop right there! No fair gettin' a head start! Wait!" Grim yelled out running towards Ace as Yuu ran alongside him.
"Who in their right mind would ever wait?! Seeya!" Ace stuck out his tongue teasingly only making Grim even angrier.
"No way are you gettin' out of this! You think I WANNA wash windows?" Grim runs after him and Yuu runs right behind him.
"Outta my way!" Ace shoves a blue haired boy out of the way
"Hey! What gives?!" The boy glares at Ace as he runs away.
"Geez are you ok?" Yuu stops to lend a hand to the blue haired boy. "If you don't mind, could you do something to stop him please? He's skipping out on cleaning duty... I'm afraid I might do more than just catch him if I try" Yuu grumbles furrowing his brows.
"What? That's not right! But how to stop him? Like, freeze his legs? Or bind them with a rope?" The boy says thinking about it "Or maybe I could... Hmm... No..." He contemplates his actions
"Do anything! Please hurry up!" Yuu begs him.
"Anything?! Anything, huh... All right! Here goes anything! I summon thee... something heavy!" The blue haired male summons a cauldron right on top of Ace.
"That's not really what I expected but I guess it works" Yuu sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose.
"Ha ha ha ha! Look, yuu, look! That Ace guy got crushed beneath a giant cauldron! It squashed him flat! Aha ha ha!
That's what you get!" The cat like creature can barely hold it's laughter.
"Owwww! What are you bothering me for? You guys coulda just banged out the work yourself!" Ace grumbles
"We aren't gonna clean 100 windows! I offered to help not do it all myself because I know that Grim isn't gonna be doing it! It's not a big deal, we can still use magic! If you actually used your brain for once you would've known that. It isn't gonna take long."
"You have to wash a hundred windows as punishment? What the heck did you do?!" The blue haired male looked at Ace in shock.
"I was just screwing with that furball a little. ...Okay, and the statue of the Queen of Hearts got a teeny bit charred. Sue me." Ace rolled his eyes.
"A bit charred is an understatement" Yuu sighs
"You damaged a statue of the Great Seven?! No wonder he flew off the handle at you! After you managed to get into THIS school, how could you get in trouble on the very first day?!" The blue haired male looked at him in shock and disbelief. Yuu couldn't believe it either how someone could mess up this badly on their first day.
"Oh, shut up." Ace snaps at the other male "Who are you, anyway?"
"My name is Deuce. Deuce Spade. Don't you remember your own classmate?" Deuce looks at Ace as if he's trying to remember something "Uh..."
"I'm gonna be honest here I don't know either of your names either but it doesn't really matter" Yuu says crossing his arms.
"Eh!? You both don't remember my name?? And Yuu after all we went through? I'm hurt." Ace says looking a bit hurt at Yuu's words.
"Oh put a sock in it! You're the one who ditched us after I even offered to help" Yuu furrows his eyebrows.
Ace raises his hands in defeat "Yeah, yeah, message received... Fine, let's bang out the windows already."
"..."
"...Is it just me or is Grim awfully quiet"
"The furball! He's gone!" Ace says in shock.
"Ah ha ha ha! I'll let you two go on your date and handle the rest! See ya, suckers!"
"We aren't dating!" Ace and Yuu yelled at Grim in unison.
"You caught me so YOU could run away yourself?!" Ace says angrily. "Hey! You there! Uh... Juice?" He points at Deuce.
"My name isn't "Juice". It's Deuce! With a D!" Deuce corrects him
"How do you mess up that badly with someone's name??" Yuu says bewildered.
"It was an honest mistake anyways this is partially your responsibility, you know! So help me catch that little furball!" Ace says
"You can't just give your responsibilities to someone else! Oh whatever there's absolutely no point arguing" Yuu sighs.
"How is this my responsibility?!" Deuce says taken aback by Ace's words
"Because Grims weak little owner over here refuses to use his magic!" Ace gives the worst reason ever
"Hey! I'm most definitely stronger than you! And my magic is a little unstable so its best that I don't use it right now! Just get that darn cat!" Yuu growls.
