Kissing Rue's head I left the room going towards Kaori's but as I made my way I swung by the waiting room to see my aunt, grandmother, and father. My dad ran up to me and hugged me.

" So?" He asked.

" Rue and the baby are healthy and just fine. Female." I said and my dad smiled.

" What is their name?" He asked me.

" Rowan. Rue wants you and mom to come meet them." I said and he nodded.

" I'll go find her, you should probably go find Kaori." He said and I nodded then went to the nurses desk. I asked them where I should find Kaori, walking down the pristine white halls, I found her room easily. I heard someone behind me clear their throat making me turn around there Shen stood. He was playing with his hands looking at the ground.

" You knew my sibling..." He said and I nodded.

" I did." I said. " We were close. I talked with him about getting you out." I told him, I watched as tears rolled down his cheeks. " Shen..." I whispered. " What you did today was amazing help. I can get you out if you want. Ununennium is dead. That gives me a little wiggle room to get you out before the other leaders start bidding for his people." I told him and he sniffled.

" I can really get out?" He asked and I nodded.

" That's what I do. I help kids like you. I was almost successful with your sibling but when I heard he had died I was already making plans to go save him." I said while pointing to the room behind me. " America needs help, needs more heroes, You'd make a good one." I told him.

" You think so?" He asked and I nodded, turning back around. I opened the door and flicked on the lights as I entered Kaori's room.

" Light off!" She whined and hid herself under the pillows and blanket on the bed hiding herself from the lights above. Bakugo went and turned them off just as I sat down across from her bed.

" Welcome back kid." I said with a playful smile on my lips.

" Yeah yeah." She mumbled resurfacing as Bakugo crawled back into bed with her.

" So. What did my son have to tell you?" I asked.

" About how cool Bakugo and I were." She told me and I nodded.

" When will we be going back?" Bakugo asked me and I sighed.

" I'll be calling Aizawa later. Depending on what he says we will more than likely be going back by the end of this month." I told them and they both nodded. " You two get some sleep. Shen go home to your mom, don't worry about the underground. I'll be back." I told them and Shen gave me a small smile when I left the room, resting my back against the door I closed my eyes, relaxing slightly.

" Can we talk?" Sol asks, breaking me out of my trance.

" FIne." I said then we walked out of the hospital, we went to the back of the parking lot and I crossed my arms over my chest.

" Nixie, over the past five years I've been regretting every moment that happened the year we lost our son... I didn't realize just how much I needed you then... How much I need you now..." He starts and I feel a pool of nausea form in my stomach. " I miss how you held me, how you loved me... I took your love for granted... I'm sorry Nixie..." He whispered and I felt the vile taste of vomit that crept up the back of my throat.

"Sol...I'm holding on to your rope you've got me ten feet off the ground. And I'm hearing what you are saying... But I just can't make a sound. You tell me that you need me and that you love me. Then you go and cut me down, but wait you tell me that you're sorry. You didn't think I'd turn around and say... That it's too late to apologize. If you came telling me this five years ago then maybe I'd take another chance, take a fall, take a shot for you. But no, I don't need you like a heart needs a beat. I loved you with a fire red, now it's turning blue. How is it fair that you can say sorry like the angel heaven let me think it was you... But I'm afraid it's too late to apologize. Sol you've had almost 6 years to make this up to me, and now, now that you've heard from our son that I found someone new you want to make it right. No. You don't get to win that easily. So keep your sorry excuse for an apology. I'm going back to Japan with those kids, and I'm going to start enjoying my new life with my new man." I told him a weight was lifted off my heart. The look of heartbreak that was on his face was priceless. He nodded then walked away to go lick his wounds, letting out a sigh. I pulled out my phone and scrolled through my contacts. Finding Aizawa's I took a deep breath then pressed the call button. Placing the phone to my ear I waited for him to answer.
