I disappeared into the air again hoping that she would be able to see my aurora as she described it earlier, jumping from molecule to molecule until I manifested fully at the park on top of the play structure smiling down at her as I kicked my feet back and forth as I sat on the lip of the roof.
" Get up here, only using your water abilities, any other elements used you have to start over. I will know, I can see earth, feel air, and you know I know when you are using fire." I told her watching as she glared at me. " Go." I said then sat criss-cross with my arms crossed over my chest, a cocky smirk plastered on my lips.
" Easy."She told me confidently, I watched closely as she focused on the environment, I could feel the pull of the water and I smiled at her, then frowned when I felt the air craft the water into a wave easily lifting her up onto the roof of the jungle gym.
" Good job." I told her, then flicked my wrist making her slip, I watched as a flash of panic ran through her then I raised my hand making her lay flat just like I did when she was at my hotel room. " You did a good job. I'm proud of you kid, but..." I said as a smirk formed on my lips as I moved her towards the ground then dropped her making her gasp as she barely caught herself. " You used waves, not water. You technically used air and water. So.... you didn't do what I had asked you." I said as I stepped off the roof making it look like I was floating in the air like the cheshire cat. " Do it again." I said as I laid down on my stomach, crossing my ankles and propping my head up on my hands.
" Ugh. You're impossible, you know that right?" She complained rolling her eyes at me and I just smiled taunting her, seeing how far I could push her.
" No, I'm teaching you what UA can't. You have Endeavor for Fire, you have that winged dickhead for air, and that new tree kid for earth, as well as your cement teacher, but you have no water." I said rolling onto my back letting my head dangle.
" Just so you know I am self taught. All anyone ever did was beat me into using it. Also Endeavor just wants me to marry his son. The guy has too many mommy and daddy issues from me." She said, and I watched as a pipe exploded from underground launching her onto the jungle gym easily making me smile as I got up and walked over to her on the plastic roof
" Look at that, you did it." I said smirking as I froze the water from exploding all over the park. " Told you could do it, I watched as she began to sink in the plastic, and I lifted her up watching as a light blush covered her cheeks. " Damn..." I muttered hoping she wouldn't hear me. Then I placed both of us on the ground, focusing on the sunken in plastic. I used the exploded water to repair it before I shoved it back into the pipe. " Get over here kid, I need you to fix the pipe, I can hold the water, you can fix the pipe." I said and she raised an eyebrow at me.
" We have to fix it?" She asked.
" Do you want to be taken away in a scary black van and never see Bakugo again?" I asked her, in a harsher tone than I intended but I couldn't risk Sol catching onto her now.
" I'm sorry..." She muttered and I felt guilt eating at me as we went and sat down on a nearby bench after we fixed the exploded pipe
" Kid..." I muttered and ran my hand through my feet length hair as I placed my hands on her shoulders, her eyes refusing to look up at me until I gently grabbed her chin. " I don't want to scare you anymore than I have so... I should probably tell you who I am hiding you from." I told her as I nudged my head towards an empty bench. She stayed quiet as she followed behind me. " I knew him..." I started, then took a deep breath. " Him and I went to the same highschool, we dated... things happened and we drifted apart, there was a reason I asked for you to look for a man that was latino with an electric based quirk because that is him. He wants to drag you to the American commission and I fear what they might do to you far more than what the Japanese one will do." I told her as I played with my hair. " I hate treating you like you are 5, but the rules here are so different from Japan. Heroes are what Stain said, and they don't care about anybody unless they make green. My mom, Rue, and I are some of the few heroes that want to still help people." I told her.
