Chapter 7: Daylight

I don't know how long I was asleep or when Taishiro even left the bed. But when I woke up cold and alone in bed as the sun leaked through my hotel room window. Sitting up I felt my hair lay flat on my chest covering up my breasts, looking around the place I've been calling home, I saw signs that he was still here, but where. Carefully crawling out of bed I found his oversized Yellow hoodie and put it on. It was like wearing a dress much too for me, but I loved it. Carefully walking into the kitchen, I was hit with the smell of breakfast immediately making my stomach growl.

" Hey, what are you doing out of bed?" Taishiro asked me as I peaked over his arm looking at what he was making. " I decided to give my best attack at an American breakfast. So, I give you eggs, sausage, and some toast. There is juice in the fridge and coffee is brewing." He said and I smiled, hiding my face under his hood.

" To answer your first question, I woke up and noticed you were gone... I thought you left." I mumbled and he gave a light chuckle as he lifted me up and placed me on the counter next to the sink.

" Well, I wouldn't leave you. Not after such an amazing night." He said, a soft smile pulling at his lips making me blush.

" Thank you, not only for last night but for breakfast. I know it was kinda out of the blue." I muttered and he grabbed my hands making me look up at him, a soft smile on his lips making me blush harder.

" Though it was out of the blue I wouldn't change it for the world." He said, " You hungry?" He asked and I nodded feeling as his hand left mine, I watched as he plated us two plates worth of breakfast before gently placing mine on my lap. " Think we can eat in here today?" He asked and I nodded before digging in. His cooking was amazing, and could make my dad run for his money. " Nix." he said and I hummed looking up at him. " Not that I'm complaining... more curious, how long do you plan to stay here? In Japan I mean..." He asked, mumbling the ending making me let out a soft sigh.

" Honestly... I don't know... I don't want to go back home yet, not with what happened with the league. I know they aren't going to just tuck tail and run. They are planning something, and I don't know how I'm going to get back in. I have no idea if they think I've been arrested or something else." I explained and he nodded before taking a bite of his scrambled eggs.

" I see..." He mumbled.

" To be honest, the only reason I'd want to go home is to see my best friend, and god child." I said and he raised an eyebrow at me. " My best friend, and boss, is pregnant. Hasn't had their kid yet, but whatever. I like it here, it's safer, it feels like home." I confessed.

" What about your parents?" He asked.

" They never really have cared where I lived. They just want me to be happy." I said and he nodded, giving me a small smile.

" Well I'm glad that your boss assigned you here." He said and I bursted out laughing.

" Rue had nothing to do with it. Nezu and All Might are who requested me here." I explained. " I'm not big in the American polls, like you but in the hero world I'm surprisingly well known." I said and he nodded.

" What do you want to do today?" He asked.

" Honestly?" I asked and he nodded. " I just want to cuddle here... maybe go for a walk and get some coffee... mostly I just want to spend time with you." I said and he blushed then hiding his face as he finished up his breakfast. We spent most of the day just lounging around my hotel room getting to know eachother better. It was nice and my cheeks hurt from how much I've been smiling. Tashiro cooked for me the entire day, then once the sun went down I asked him if he would like to stay yet again.

" I think I will. We aren't that far from my agency." He said then gave the top of my head a small peck. I could feel a blush creeping onto my cheeks as he gracefully picked me up and took me into the bedroom, getting me comfortable he crawled in and wrapped his large arms around my smaller frame. I wiggled around until my head was comfortably laying on his chest, I let out a wide yawn as sleep washed over me faster than what I'm used to. Sleep was blissful, warm and comforting, I'd never felt anything like this during my time with Sol. As I slept the night away I was awoken with my spam ringtone starting me awake, jolting upright I fumbled to turn off my phone, looking at the number I sighed and rubbed my eyes answering it.
