"Since you did this. Plan it." I said and walked away. "Of course. It's my duty." I heard her say behind me. I can't believe she's trying to play a role she has not been accepted for. This should be her first and last time of her doing such a thinf. Else the next time ...it won't end well.

Armando POV
Some days later and it was time for me to host a party I hadn't even planned. What exactly was even being celebrated? This girl has lost her mind. Many people attended. I am sure it's because i am usually quite and I do not have such functions so people are curious about me. I couldn't help but invite Sylvia. Her presence will make the night more bearable. I knew it wasn't fair to her but I still invited her. I needed to see her. Let me be selfish. This once...

The party was well a success.

Sylvia POV
I know very well that he is not in love with Rosina. And though I am not in favour i understand. I wanted to stand by him badly she is in my place. It irritated me so much. And from time to time at the party she smirked at me. I kept my composure. But the moment he saw her dad he took her hand and walked to him. They looked just like a couple. I couldn't take it anymore. So I called Paul. "Paul, could you please come to Armando's party?" I asked. "And why would I want to do that?" He said quite cheekily. "Come on. You know I wouldn't ask you if it wasn't important." I added. "

About 20 min later he arrived. Pauls presence always somehow made my day better. I was so jealous and since I couldn't walk out I will have to make this more bearable.

Armando's POV
I knew it was only a matter before Sylvia makes me jealous. And it was no other appart from my favourite person, Paul. He strides over took her hand in his and led her to have conversations with other guests. We'll at least he kept her company. Since it was my party I had to give a speech and I knew I had to give a flawless one too so I did. And Rosina was on my side she finished off the speech with her own little touch and people clapped. To all we were the perfect couple. Envy was etched on some people's faces. It was funny because I didn't even like her. I could pass her on to them if they wanted. People should learn that not everything good is perfect. We were the only people who knew how messy it was. Her dad looked proud of his daughter. Sorry but there is no way I am taking your daughter to the Isle.
Suddenly I looked back at Sylvia who desperately fought hard to keep her composure. She did it so well it didn't look like a struggle to others. But since I knew her I realised it. Her shoulders drooped slightly lower than usual and her face twiched from time to time. Suddenly my eyes traced to where Paul had held her. His arms were around her waist. I can't believe she allowed it. She should say something. I tried to push past a couple of people but before I could get to them Rosina grabbed me. "Not now Rosina" I said in a low growl. "Well my dad is calling you." She said smuggly. "Is your dad aware that the only hold you have on me and the only line you ever use on me is your dad? Do you think your little threats can stop me from getting what I want. If so, then you're a joke. And not at all as wise I at least gave you credit for." I said letting out all that had been on my chest.
I could see she was hurt and genuinely I wasn't my intention have gone this far. She should just go home. Looking down I realised she still had her hand on mine.
"Let go." I said. "I am sorry I won't. You can disgrace me indoors but you can't disgrace ke when we're out. I have my father's reputation to behold." She said. "Then go and do that in his house." I sneered.
I tried to pull away when her dad came.
