Chapter 8

We sat in the barn rain pouring down, most everyone slept but I couldn't and I'm pretty sure I wasn't the only one. I heard loud growling and I saw Daryl holding the barn doors closed. I hurried over to the door to help him it was dark but his eyes were bright and he looked at me with concern. Soon after people started to join us and then everyone was there holding the door closed. Daryls arms were around me they looked huge but I couldn't focus on that I had to make sure this group lived.

There were loud crashes and bangs and then everything got quiet. I looked out the door and I couldn't really see anything "I think we're good" I said quickly and Carl rushed over to pick Judith up from where he put her. We all then fell asleep.

I woke up up looking at Daryl Dixon and him looking at me. I got up and walked over to him "Come with me please" I said in a sort of pleading voice he bit his lip and nodded. He stood up and I grabbed his hand dragging him outside and that's when I saw why it got quiet. Trees fell some walkers under them others stabbed by the branches, I still just kept walking I saw Maggie and Sasha sitting on one of the fallen trees so I took Daryl around to the other side.

I sat down and so did he "look I kno..." And then I got cut of by the lips of Daryl I was shocked but also pleased. Our lips intertwined and then seperated. "Just don't talk I just want to sit here with you I'm fine really." I just nodded and then took his hand and I put my hand in his then I rested my head on his shoulder.

Daryl Dixon just kissed me. It was so unreal but amazing. I wanted to stay in this moment forever but it got cut of by screaming and shouting.

Daryl and I ran into the barn we saw someone new and Rick was starring at him. "whos this?!?" I asked "I'm Aaron, I want everyone to come with me back to my group. It's a safe place and we could help you and you could help us." He then started to get in his backpack and showed us pictures. Rick looked at Michonne and she gave a nod, Rick then walked up to him and punched the new comer. "Rick! That was a we should trust him nod not a punch him in the face nod!" Michonne screamed at Rick.

Rick gathered us in a circle "what do you guys think." Rick said "I think we should check it out if it's a bad place we could leave." I said suggesting we go. "What if they held us captive like terminu?" Rick said worry in his voice "we can all handle our selfs we got out of terminus remember" Michonne said "fine we'll check it out" Rick finally said agreeing with us.

We walked down the the road I was standing besides Daryl "my cars are down here a bit and then we have to go get my partner I told him to wait a while away" we just kept walking till we saw a brown little car and an rv. We finally got to the vehicles and we figured out riding situations I rode in the small brown car with Rick, Mochonne, Glenn, and Aaron I wanted to ride with Daryl but they needed him in the rv just in case of Abraham and Ugine getting in another fight Plus they needed me here. Before we left Daryl came by me "be safe and don't get hurt" he told me in a stern voice "don't worry ill be just fine."

Glenn and Rick sat in the front Glenn driving and Rick in the passenger side, i sat in the back by the door Aaron in the midle and Michonne sat by the other door. Rick opened the glove box to see a bunch of lisence plates Aaron spoke up and said "I'm collecting them it's a hobby." Michonne then asked Rick if we should ask him the questions and he nodded so I started to speak.

"How many walkers have you killed?" "Not sure a lot though." "How many people have you killed?" "None, but we did have to send a couple people away." He said honestly "why?" "They were a threat to our group so we had to exclude them." I just turned and looked out the window.

It it was dark and foggy and you could bearly see anything. I was staring out the window and I saw a couple figures I looked closer and saw they We're walkers "there a couple walkers keep an eye out" I said to let everyone know and then the car started to swerve I looked out the windshield and saw hundreds of walkers coming twords us and standing all around the road. Glenn just kept going killing as many as he could, I looked back and I couldnt see the rv "the rv is not behind us!" I screamed "we will find them when we get out of this!" Rick screamed back then the car came to a complete stop. "It won't go" Glenn screamed "we have to get out of here" I said with worry in my voice then Rick got out and we followed him we then saw a red stream of light and Aaron started to run into the woods I followed after him. I finally grabbed him and looked at him in the face "calm down we will get there." I said calmly "but he's in trouble I have to get to him!" He said worried "we will" i tried to stay as calm as possible I turned around and couldn't find Glenn "where's Glenn?" I asked "I don't know he was right behind us!" "We have to find him!" I screamed and then I ran I found him waljers closing in on him I stabbed the walker in front of him and grabbed his arm. "Come on lets go!" I screamed we then found everyone else.

Aaron started to run one way and we followed a walker got really close and Rick shot it with the same thing that went up in the air and we ran. 

We soon found the rv and we all ran to our loved ones, I looked around for Daryl and saw him looking around as well. When our eyes locked I ran to him I hugged him tight and he hugged me back tighter "I thought I lost you." he said relief in his voice.
