Chapter 21

Bailey

Quite a bit of time has passed since I got the boys back Rick has been coming up with this plan to make Alexandria bigger. We sat around listening to Ricks plan and then he started to ask for volunteers and people stated to raise their hands.

"I'll help." i said raising my hand and Daryl kind of gave me a lot that said I shouldn't and I just looked at Rick "great" Rick said finally after getting everyone.

After we talked about it about a million times we decided we wee going to do a practice run later so we could for sure know what we were doing.

Time Skip

It was the day we were going out to do our practice run and I was ready, I wasn't nervous for today but I was nervous for when we were actually going to put the plan into action. 

After stretching in bed I rolled over to Daryl and woke him up.  "Dare wake up." I said with a sleepy voice "ugh" he just grumbled  "come on sleeping beauty" i laughed and he finally opened his eyes "don't go." he said and it shocked me "Dare I'm helping." I said "We have enough people you can stay and look after everything here." I then got up and started to get dressed "Bailey." he said and i turned to face him "Daryl Dixon I am going and that's final I need to help and I am going to help." "fine" Daryl grumbled and got up and also started to get dressed. 

I walked out of the room and after putting my hair in a ponytail and brushing my teeth. I walked downstairs and saw Maggie sitting at the counter and she looked like she had been crying. "Maggie?" i asked and she wiped her face and turned towards me "oh hey Bailey." she smiled "oh Mags come with me." i sighed and took her hand and led her to the back yard.

We sat down on the steps and I looked at her "What's wrong?" i asked and she started to cry I just took her into a hug and let her cry on my chest. She pulled away and wiper her face. "I'm pregnant." she said and I just looked at her in shock and then when it sunk in I smiled a big smile.

"Mags that is amazing." i said and she laughed "I just feel like this is going to screw everything up." she said "Maggie it will not the group has experienced a pregnant women before and you guys are still great." "I know but I feel like there's just so much going on and it just isn't the right time." "Maggie you know it will never be the right time so really right now is just a good time as any. Besides that means I get a niece or nephew." i said still smiling and she laughed. "Come on every things going to be just fine." and we walked back inside both of us smiling.

"Are you ready to go Bai?" I looked up and saw Glenn "Yep." I said and hugged Maggie "I'll look after him." I whispered in her ear and then separated "oh will you look after the boys for me?" i asked and she nodded her head and I walked out the door to the gates.

I got to the gates and soon after Glenn did to, everyone was there and we decided to get going. I hoped on Daryl's bike behind him and we took off.
