You and Mina are hanging out at your place, watching a comedy movie together. As the film reaches a particularly hilarious scene, you both burst out laughing uncontrollably.
"Mina, I swear, you have the funniest laugh ever," you say, still giggling.
Mina looks a bit offended. "What's wrong with my laugh? It's perfectly normal!"
You shake your head, still giggling. "No, no, it's just unique, that's all."
She glares at you playfully. "Fine, then. Let's hear your laugh, Miss Perfect."
You start laughing again, trying your best to make it extra obnoxious. Mina giggles along with you, throwing a pillow at you in mock annoyance.
"Okay, okay, you win," she says, grinning. "But let's make a deal. We both promise to never laugh during a serious moment, no matter how funny the situation is. Deal?"
You nod solemnly. "Deal."
But as the movie progresses, there are a couple of moments where it's impossible not to laugh. You both try your best to hold it in, but end up failing miserably.
"Oh well, I guess we tried," Mina says, shrugging and breaking into another fit of giggles.
You can't help but laugh along with her, feeling grateful for your wonderful friend who can make even the toughest moments feel a little less heavy.
