Meanwhile, in the Capital of the Empire itself...

A tournament is held in the Empire's Colosseum as fighters from all around were all busy fighting each other for the ultimate prize at hand.

At the throne that is watching the tournament ahead, Esdeath alongside Run, and two members of the Seven Virtuous Champions, Uriel and Gabriel in tow.

Esdeath, who is sitting on the throne, yawns in boredom and said, "So boring..." She said in a bored tone.

"What do you think of these two and their fight, General?" Run said, commenting on the duel at the arena.

"Disappointing. Not even a Teigu in sight. Truly a fight that is unworthy of recognition." Esdeath said as she yawns again.

"I will admit to the General that it is truly boring. Remind me again why are we here, wasting our time with this nonsense?" Uriel said in annoyance to Gabriel.

"The tournament is open to anyone from all across the land, Uriel. With such a big event that promise only the prize to the winner, there will be participants that are.... special." Gabriel explained it to Uriel.

"I will agree with the logic but like I said, this fight is just uninteresting. Not even worth my time except to see idiots shouting at each other and flapping their hands everywhere while looking like a bunch of incompetent simpletons. Truly, a sight to see." Uriel said in a sarcastic tone.

"Well, this will also be a chance to get on break and enjoy the culture in this world. Who knows. Maybe there will be something interesting." Gabriel assured it to Uriel.

"I doubt it." Uriel said in reluctant annoyance.

Meanwhile, up on the roof of the tournament and sitting on it is Asmodeus, alongside two of his Watchers, floating side by side with him, were all watching the spectacle up ahead.

And just like Esdeath, even he is bored.

'This must be the episode where Tatsumi is participating just to get the money for his village only to then get dragged by Esdeath to become her lover. Well, wonder if Tatsumi will also participate and wonder if Esdeath will also have him as her lover and finally...' Asmodeus gives a smirk and said, "Wonder if Esdeath can handle two more fucking her."

His smirk is interrupted when he saw Wave had made an announcement, "In the East corner, we have Kalbi the Butcher." Wave said, pointing at the one who's head is a bull.

"Yeah, let me have em!" Kalbi yelled out, brandishing his weapon.

"And in the West corner, we have Tatsumi, the Red Blade Devil!" He announced, pointing at Tatsumi, who look with a bored look as he stared at Kalbi down, despite the difference in height.

"That one looks like a mere boy..." Run stated but Esdeath didn't hear him as he looked at Tatsumi in interest about him.

All the while, Uriel and Gabriel noticed something about Tatsumi as they looked at each other in a cautionary look.

"Isn't that title too much?" Lubbock said, noting the title itself.

"I don't know. You tell me about his reason." Leone said before thinking, 'I'm already nervous enough when I'm here. Especially when...' Leone then looked at Esdeath and shuddered, 'She's here. I don't care if this Asmodeus guy said that she is no longer allied with the Empire. Even if he made me feel good.' Leone thought before blushing a little.
